HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital

I have been coming to this location for years for my mammograms and it is always a pleasant experience. The girls at the breast center are sompersonable and caring and cant imagine ever going anywhere else.

Don't waste time to check on love one. They don't know whos taking care of who. They transferred me too a number outside cleaning company. The company was not affiliated with hospital

Fell off my my bike on a Saturday afternoon. Split my forehead and eyebrow open, serious road rash and assorted bumps and briuses everywhere. Triaged promptly and Dr. Nightingale did an excellent job stiching up my face, he did as well as any plastic surgeon which I considered asking for but he inspired trust and it is healing beautifully. Of course had to have a CT scan incase of concussion. All was done promptly, professionally and with much kindness by all staff involved. Well done St. Petersburg General, thank you!

Worst ER experience! I felt bad for the nurse, she was the only one there. She did her best. The ER doctor was no where to be found, the nurse told us everything was good, and there was no evidence of a blood clot. She had the result for over an hour, and called the doctor twice to have come talk to us so we could leave. He was no where to be found, so we left.
I respect how hard the nurses work. I feel bad they have no support from the doctors to help them, or that the company cannot staff safely and appropriately!

Me and my wife are battling covid 19 and I brought her here to get help thats what hospitals are for and the guy at the entrance was extremely rude so I took my wife to another hospital sucks I couldn't get help from a closer hospital and ill take the drive next time this isn't my first bad time coming here. Thanks to the "guard" I'll never go back my wife really needed help but bardmore and Northside will always help. Oh and by the way the entrance guy said it was better to go elsewhere so.

First visit. Director Robert and Nurse Holly were fabulous. Both made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Director Robert Definitely went a step above! Another visit on Friday and a Procedure on Monday. Omgosh from the beginning to the end—phenomenal people, I tried to remember everyone’s name: Shelia, Tiffany, Maria the transporter guy who picked me up in my Cadillac (inside joke). Loved the Informer that gives your family text updates of your loved one’s surgery- my parents were grateful for this the most. ️thank you!

Megan the RN who was with me for my hospital stay was so helpful she was so wonderfu best RN ive come across! If i needed anythimg she was there right away super fast, best RN.

In the ER they where do great. On 3.floor the nurses where really nice but they had not time for nothing. Not enough staff.
But everything else was great

I would give no stars if I could to post what horrible treatment you get at St Pete general. I went to the emergency room Wednesday afternoon because I had shortness of breath and swollen feet. I was left in the er all night on a gurney with someone else's blood on the sheets that were on it. I asked if this sheet was clean and was told yes. They gave me 7 EKGs a cat scan chest x-ray and other test was told they thought I had congestive heart failure possibly pnemonia. No drs ever came to discuss what was actually wrong until I flipped out and signed myself out. The Dr Meyers was a horrible Dr who when she found out I was leaving tried talking to me like I was a child. Not once did any Dr come explain anything to me about what was wrong. Seems there only good for taking so much blood from you they collapse your veins! I was told by Dr Myers that I wouldn't get any prescriptions if I signed my self out so they let me leave with congestive heart failure with no meds and no help! Don't go here or take your love ones here because they will just kill you they don't care about you they just want their paychecks! Time to see an attorney!

Imagine going to a hospital with a severed ulnar artery and being told that the wait for too long and to go somewhere else. Go to Tampa general

I appreciate the service I received at Saint Petersburg General.
Everyone was nice and I was In there and Out in about 2 hours.
Next time I will be more careful stepping up on a concrete boat slip.

Had my baby here 8 days ago and it was the best experience I could’ve asked for. The nurses in labor & delivery as well as postpartum were amazing.

A quick trip through the ER this morning for stitches. Can't say thanks enough to Dr Byron Markel and RN Casey Morrow! They were fantastic. I really appreciate all you guys did.

The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the longest wait I had, was to get checked in. No one greeted me at the counter. I had to wait for a lengthy period of time before I was even acknowledged. Once I was checked in it was a matter of minutes before I was triaged and moved to a room. Other than that the service was incredible. The doctor was professional and courteous. He and the nurse explained everything before they proceeded to treat me.

I had A great experience for my surgery. I was Completely nervous and took care of me and reassured to me that all will go well and everything did. I’m grateful

Everything was good. The check-in was easy and the test I had did not take very long. I am completely satisfied with St. Pete General.
