Solid place to begin a life in recovery. Great structure, and a lengthy and established history of over 20 years of helping guys get back on their feet. I highly recommend Healing Properties to any guy coming out of treatment or jail or looking for an accountable place to get involved in the recovery community. I am grateful for the time I spent living there, and the friendships and connections I made.

When I got to HP, I only had a trash bag full of clothes that weren’t even technically mine, I had been addicted to heroin for years and couldn’t get my life together. Now, I have over a year sober, a good job, a fiancée, my own apartment, and a baby on the way. HP taught me how to live life sober. I got my deposit back after I moved out and I still go up there to sponsor guys in my free time.

My overall experience while at healing properties, Sober living, were 100 percent positive. And I'm asking myself as I write this, how can that be, how can over a 6 moth period be 100 percent positive.
So let's say there were times, and moments, maybe even days in a row that incidents and occurrences, an appliance gave out, maybe another client had a melt down, etc. Because those things happened and while they take place it does not "feel" overly positive and infact can be aggravating, sad, angering and maddening, all the negative emotions one can experience, justified or an excuse.will, take place if you stay long enough.
Because it is real life living.

What happens at healing properties, is the opportunity to work through real life issues clean and sober and travel through these experiences to the other side to enternal resolvement.
The structure, ie, requirements and rules are set up in such a way that the individual can find his way through the process. Through interdependence from the whole, [ community ]
Significant relationships are formed here and this more than any rules creats accountability.

The house manager does an excellent job overseeing that rules are followed, adapting individual needs, suggestive counseling and intervention when needed and the fine line of allowing an individual find his way yet keeping the community as a whole safe from any individual that crosses certain boundaries.

I was at healing properties 6 months, the absolute hardest emotional thing I went through was the last two weeks leading up to my departure. I worked through that and found my way to the airport. My stay was 100 percent positive!

When I got to Healing properties I had just gotten out of treatment and I had no clue how to actually stay sober. Halfway was new to me and I had my doubts. I didn't think I would fit in but within an hour of being there I met some really good people who introduced themselves to me and they invited me to go get some food with them. The one thing I really loved about Healing properties was the community. I never felt like I was alone in my recovery. I always had someone I could reach out to. Whether it was my peers or the staff. Healing properties helped show me I could live a happy life without putting a substance in my body. They helped me stay sober and I truly it helped save my life,

Kurt and Tim have worked hard to manufacture these comments here. They have spent endless hours posting them with false posts.

Everything I was told here was untrue. My deposit was taken after Kurt saying they'd return it. Your contract does not say they have to return it. K Tim said I could travel for work; went to Seattle and only to return to see someone in my bed and Kurt called police department. Delray PD knows Kurt well since he loves to file restraining orders after he takes your money and pockets it. I'd urge you to go to the County court house down the street from HP & see what Kurt has on file. There are over 59 restraining orders that he's filed against all residents there. Those residents were upset and angry because they were deceived by Kurt and Tim.

I'd go to the FARR list online and look for something else. The Fern House in West Palm allows folks in with no money. This place is nothing more than a money hustle. Kurt is a great salesman and does a good buddy act. After they get your money, you get treated much differently.

A wonderful healing place with excellent support and community. This place saves lives and is the finest sober environment I've ever been to. The people there care and community member take the program seriously. I will recommend this place to all who are in need of a place that works.

If you’re looking for a place to get your life together/change your life look no further. I arrived at Healing Properties spiritually, emotionally, and financially broke. I left with a life I truly couldn’t have ever dreamed of having. This place is like finding a needle in a haystack in regards to accountability and having other guys around you that actually care. HP saved my life and I’m forever grateful.

Great place to go fresh out of treatment. Stayed here for a year and I wouldn't be alive or free if I never went here. Was definitely the tough love I needed. I was neglectful of AA and the process at first, completely hated my future. But now I'm a step from finishing my 12 steps, on the path to a successful career and have plenty of supports I gained from the part in my life. I went into this halfway at 19 and the kick in the behind I got led me onto a successful life. Definitely keep this place as a choice, and never be afraid to call them and learn more.

This is Copeland Hughes and I was a client at Healing Properties for 11 months. I really did not want to live in sober living, but I realized that I needed to get my routines and behaviors firmly in place. What I thought was going to be a 90 day stay, became an 11 month stay. What an incredible experience. The staff has been instrumental in my recovery. Weekly checkins to monitor progress (or lack of) held me accountable. I had lost my direction in life and Healing Properties provided structure that I desperately needed. If you’re reading this and wondering how to maintain your sobriety, pick up the phone and call Healing Properties. It could be just what you need to get to a better way of living. Thank you to Tim, Kurt and a great community of men!

HP helped me a lot in the 6 months I was part of the Program. Jun and Kurt were both great and helped me in anyway that they could when I asked. Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs a good Halfway house. Location is great as well for someone that doesn't have a car. Located right off of E Atlantic Ave, there are a ton of restaurants and job opportunities close by

On September 18th, 2020 I entered my 5th drug & alcohol rehabilitation center. All the way from Phoenix, AZ I somehow found myself on the east coast in sunny South Florida. I discharged the IOP program I was in on December 1st and went through 2 halfway programs before landing at Healing Properties on February 4th, 2021 with just under 6 months clean and sober. HP provided me with a very stable living environment and surrounded me with a strong group of men in the program which is what I needed in order to continue my journey in the recovery process. I got really close with Jun & Kurt and will always look to them as people I can count on for many things in my life. I discharged from HP on June 11th, 2021 and as I reflect back on my time there I can say I'm definitely glad that I was not only able to stay there for just about 4 months in my time of need but also graduate from the program successfully. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to gain strength in their program and build a strong foundation/defense against the first drink or drug. HP showed me how to stay accountable and have fun while I worked hard to better my life. Truly grateful for this place!

Moving to Healing Properties was one of the best decisions I've ever made. When I arrived, I was broken and battered from once again recently burning my life to the ground. Through the structure, accountability, and community support instilled upon me at Healing Properties, I was afforded the opportunity to grow, heal, and learn to serve. Through the friendship and support of Jun, Tim, and Kurt, I was able learn how to embrace recovery and join a fellowship. I'll forever be grateful to them and to Healing Properties.

I came to Florida in July 2020 in search of a new life, free from addiction. After attending a month long treatment center, I was lucky enough to have a bed waiting for me at Healing Properties. Jun and Kurt do an absolute wonderful job of showing us the way to completely transform our old way of thinking to a new way that helps us become the best version of ourselves. I spent almost 8 months there and it really helped me change into the man I am today. Today, I have a great job, I got my family back, I work a solid program and I stay sober. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity. #onedayatatime

During my first attempt to get sober my family called healing properties, hoping for me to get admitted. Having just gone through detox I felt confident that I was fine on my own; two months later I accepted that I could not do this alone. When my family called again, they remembered them and promptly found a place for me. As a shy, minimally social person I was terrified when I got there but soon after, I had found a community of people who were accepting and age gone through similar experiences as myself. Every manager and resident are committed to your recovery as well as their own. A few months later I left sober of mind and body, knowing that I would genuinely miss this place and the people within. Even in the recovery capital of the world, HP stands as one of the greatest and most effective places to get sober.
