Because of an accident I was in chronic back pain to the extent I had trouble sleeping and walking. Dr Orta not only helped with the pain he also got to the emotional source of my pain. Once that was revealed to me I was able with his help to work through those emotions and heal by back.
I also find it very beneficial for my well being to have checkups periodically. Dr. Orta has state of the art modalities and the vibe in his office is positive and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr Orta.

I LOVE DR. ORTA! I fell about a year ago and was suffering with intense, daily, non-stop right hip and right leg pain. I was referred to Dr. Orta by my friend, made an appointment, as was, quite frankly, skeptical about seeing a chiropractor. Haven't been too impressed with them in the past.

I am the last person to believe in a Chiropractor. All the cracking and twisting you hear about was not for me. No one is snapping my neck! I have not been able to lay in a bed due to HORRIBLE back &hip pain. 10 years I have slept in a recliner. After trying every local doctor, going to Mayo Clinic (the best of the best) and not getting any help just lots of numbing pain pills that left me foggy headed and still unable to take the pain of laying down- I was really at my wits end. God guided me to Dr. Pedro Orta. He is an holistic chiropractor. After just a couple visits he had me laying flat on his table and I was not screaming in pain. I first visited Dr. Orta because my left hip muscles became injured playing pickleball. He was and is doing a fabulous job of getting this healed. I'm 95% healed and have been playing pickleball throughout the healing process. He used radio frequency, shockwave therapy, PEMF and dry needling techniques. I visited three chiropractors in Ocala looking for someone that could help my condition. He was the first to make a significant difference! During this time, my right rotator cuff (shoulder) started acting up and he is helping that to heal quickly as well. He is using PEMF, radio frequency and dry needling with current. The staff is genuinely nice and professional. I highly recommend him.

I went to see Dr. Orta for thyroid issues after being told that I needed to be on medications. I wanted to try a natural way. The shoulder, neck and joints were hurting so bad that prevented me to do regular activities. My brain was in a constant fog as well and no energy in addition to not being able to sleep. Dr. Orta put me on a treatment plan for 15 weeks and I am currently going as needed. My energy is back, no joint or shoulder/neck pain anymore and I am more alert and my sleep is normal again. Also my thyroid blood work is back to normal and still not taking any medications. I totally recommend Dr. Orta and his staff, they are one of a kind. They also treated me like family. I was visiting Florida from out of State and had back pain. In two visits Dr Orta helped me more than 2 weeks worth of visits back home. The office staff was very knowledgeable and compassionate. If it weren't so far away I would be a regular patient!

I found Dr. Orta after several visits to other Chiropractors who told me the only option I had was to have surgery. I believe the body can and will heal itself with the proper care of a Natural Health care provider. I was looking for something more then your typical " snap, crack and pop" treatment. When I began treatment with Dr. Orta my pain level was at a 10. He created a treatment plan for me and said " we'll do everything we can to prevent surgery" and well, HE SURE DID thus far! I've received 13 out of a 26 visit plan and I feel great! I was in excruciating pain in my lower back and I've had neck issues for years. My lower back pain is at a 2 on bad days but overall, it rarely effects my day. I had very limited range of motion in my neck and today it has improved at least 90%. Dr. Orta's methods of treatment are beyond anything I can technically explain but, he has only once in 13 visits cracked my neck, (because he had to at that visit and I trust him immensely!) Dr. Orta is not your average Chiropractor, he believe in whole body healing and he is a brilliant doctor! And to go a little further into how deeply he cares for his patience, as I said earlier, I had a 26 visit treatment plan that I chose to pay in advance. My husband lost his job last week and Dr. Orta immediately suggested that we hold off further treatments (because I am doing so well) AND REFUNED the money I paid in advance! What doctor or medical practice do you know that would do that? The answer is none! I can not recommend him more highly! His entire staff is hands on, accommodating, super friendly and kind with a big smile every time you walk in the door! If you have never tried reflexology you must give his assistant, Erin a try, she is amazing! I absolutely can not wait to resume my treatments, not that i need them right now but, because I just love how I feel!

I have been powerlifting more seriously for the past two years and I have always experienced a pinch in my left shoulder that would hinder my range of motion and even cause my arm to feel sensations of numbness. After Dr. Orta treated me with various manipulations and acupuncture the pain and clicking in that shoulder has gone away. I can perform my shoulder exercises with a full range of motion and without any pain and numbness.

I had suffered from seeming plantar fasciitis for 1 1/2 yrs! I’m an active tennis player, runner, no stopper. This slowed me down so much not to mention the mental effects! Dr. Orta looked at the whole body and we found a few root problems and then he used laser and I don’t dare try to use the correct terminology for the shock therapy!
Within a fairly short period of time, I just had almost full recovery. I still stretch and will continue to look at a whole body approach to everything. I played tennis 6 times last week! I feel like I have a life back and know where I’ll head for pretty much any issue!
