Hear Again Records reviews
11Great Record Shop with a Hugh selection. Prices are great! Follow them on Instagram to get updates on new inventory which is almost daily. I never leave this shop with less than 4 records.
Chill little record shape in downtown Gainesville area. Had lots of alt, Indie and punk genres as well as modern artists. They have some older used records for cheap and others were pricier. Parking is tough in the area but I loved this shop!
I love hear again. Best record store in Gainesville for sure. They post on instagram so you’ll never miss new vinyl restocks. Owner is friendly and can help get you whatever you’re looking for!
This is a definitive record store. The gentleman behind the counter has an encyclopedic knowledge of his inventory, and music as a whole. I have never managed to walk in this store and not spend my entire paycheck. Parking can be an issue, but if you enjoy music in any capacity this is a must visit.
Update: I now own over 250 vinyls. Help.
Meat was too dry and salty i did not like
my burger here and the wait staff was incredibly rude do not go here
This was a surprise to me as it looks like a small store but they had a huge variety from Metal, Rock, Hip Hop, I found some gems in this place. If you are in the area this is a must.
Great selection of both vintage and new vinyl. Staff was happy to help. I am pleased we have a store like this in Gainesville.
Amazing customer service. Amazing jazz selection, and huge selection of new used records of all genres. Can't wait to come back.
I've been going to Hear Again for years. The owner has always given me good suggestions and accommodations. They keep a very tidy store for relaxed browsing. This is your go to Vinyl shop in Gville
A great place to browse records both new and used. A large selection of various genres. The owner is nice to chat with and will suggest music based on albums you've bought before. Love going here when I have the time.
It's an absolute treat to visis this shop when I am in town. First, the owner is so nice (i.e. Offering a stool to sit on while browsing the lower level stock).
But the selection and the curating are really the gems here. EVERYTHING is alphabetized, unlike some shops. And the different genres are clearly defined.
Plus, there are mutiple copies of a particular musician's work (not just one copy of recent release).
For example, if I can find a shop at home with any Stereolab, they"ll have one album. HAR has 5-6 spanning 25 years. Same with M. Ward and others.
As I told the owner, if I ever were to own a record store I'd want it to be just like this one. And isn't imitation the ultimate form of flattery?
Anyway, THANKS for being such a cool spot!
