Heartis Venice Assisted Living reviews
18They are understaffed, and they don't seem to care too much for the staff that they do have.
We went to visit my bf’s mother yesterday for her birthday and the receptionist at the front desk, Dee, was very mean, and extremely unfriendly. I’m surprised to say the least as this facility has a beautiful appearance, and seem to want a great staff to go along with it. While we signed out, we even said have a good evening and nothing back in return. She pretended she didn’t hear us and kept looking at the screen of her computer. If you don’t want to do your job, and be kind to others as they visit their loved ones… don’t work at a facility where you should be kind to everyone!
Today’s entertainment at Happy Hour was outstanding. My mother, and all the residents and guests, thoroughly enjoyed the event.
Attended the Renewal of the avows ceremony on Feb 14. It was a lovely event, well planned and exceptional in every way. Congratulations to Heartis!
I am very disappointed in Heartis.my friend did not receive adequate care. They did not give him his antibiotic until 3 days after they received the medication and scrambled trying to locate the medication and doctor orders which they had in their possession. The floors are dirty. They are under staffed. The administrator is not responding to my request for a refund for tena supplies
Everyone was super friendly. Most important my father says that everyone is so nice to him and he really enjoys being there.
The facility is beautiful. My family member has been there for almost a year. But like many of the neighbor's, the AC has been inoperative for months now in the unit. Hard to understand why that is happening. They say they are having problems with their contractor and difficulty getting parts.
The receptionist is not very nice. We have been there a number of times and check in and check out with her is not pleasant. Our friend who lives there said the same thing. Your place is great but not her to be honest. Bad impression.
The entryway is clean, well lit, and the front desk personnel are knowledgeable and helpful. All staff members were professional and pleasant to interact with during our visit.
This is the second facility of this type I have worked in. The place has a very intelligent, capable leader. There are many activities that engage the residents to socialize. I have learned that moving away from one's house is sometimes a very difficult situation, but Heartis works very hard to include everyone into their new family, and that is what occurs - the residents consider other residents as family. It is a beautiful place, and of recent build and modern construction practices. There are views of two bays, and a heated swimming pool. It is indeed, a resort setting. I would encourage anyone seeking this type of situation to stop by on a Wednesday afternoon between 3: 00 and 4: 00 p.m. And see the residents enjoying entertainment. I would also suggest for a tour to call and schedule one. Could I live there? Oh heck yeah.
My parents have been living at Heartis since it opened in July of 2021. I have never seen them so happy! They love their apartment; they wake up looking at one body of water and get to see the sunset on Robert's Bay in the afternoon. There are plenty of activities to keep them busy, both in the building and off site. Their favorite part is going out to lunch or dinner, as my mom is wheelchair bound and the bus is able to take them.
The staff has been nothing but wonderful to them. I have had to come and help my parents on several occasions. Each time I have been welcomed by the staff and feel like I am part of the Heartis family. I can rest easier knowing they are being taken care of by the wonderful staff, including the nurses, cna's, managers, concierge, activities personnel, dining personnel and maintenance. When I am unable to be there, I don't worry as I know that they will treat my parents with the best of care. Thank you to everyone who works at Heartis!
Heartis has been sold! Management Has run the place into the ground there’s too many people in memory care and not enough staff! They cannot keep staff because they don’t pay well and they are abusive to the staff!
My mother moved in here a few months ago and has been very happy. The residents and staff are great, everyone is friendly & professional, and there are a lot of activities. When Hurricane Ian hit, the staff really showed their grit and level of compassion and caring for the residents. Not only did they keep everyone safe and calm during the storm, but had cleanup crews onsite as soon as the storm passed. Kudos to Michelle and the Heartis crew!
The staff really gave their all to keep us safe, happy, and well cared for. They slept at the facility, and were basically on call for us around the clock.
Would highly recommend Heartis in a hurricane.
The staff at Heartis Venice are true heros. The dedication to the residents during Hurricane Ian, was amazing. Doing whatever was needed to ensure their safety and comfort. The spirit of teamwork and community are definitely alive and well at Heartis.
Durning the hurricane heartis staff were great. Everyone came together as a team to help each other out and the residents. In a serious state of emergency everyone was amazing
My parents reside at Heartis Venice and are very happy with the staff, facilities, and experiences. As well, me and my siblings all agree based on what we see and our interactions. The staff are caring and understanding of what it takes to keep an elderly community happy. And they go out of their way to do great work in-house, make life there special, and listen to family needs and requests. Big thanks to the great staff at Heartis!
They turned this place into a cruise ship! We had fun fun fun and never felt like we were in trouble even though this area was hit head on. The building took an almost cat5 and even with full window walls it held strong. The staff and families moved in with us and they kept us safe, well fed and some beverages, if you know what I mean. I could not have been in a better place with a general manager Michelle Berger, a great staff and a great place! Maintenance is still living on site! Thanks for your dedication to us! I can’t believe how much I love this place ️
