Hector H. Velez-Camacho, MD reviews
18 Staff always very attentive.
Dr. Velez is excellent and always takes the time to listen and provide the solutions you need.
Very personable, knowledgeable, empathetic towards your wellbeing. Makes sure you understand that you’re going to be ok.
I absolutely love the Dr. Velez but the girl who takes me back to see him every-time (maybe a MA) is horrible. So unpleasant and unprofessional. She isn’t helpful and takes no responsibility for messing up multiple time with insurance and expecting me to do her job that I know nothing about.
I was seeing dr. Velez while he was in practice of by USF. I will be going back to him even if I have to drive an hour and a half. He is worth the drive.
My son goes to Dr. Velez -Camacho

Who cares about his patients a grateful Mom. And his staff is awesome also.
Explains his examination of the patient with a straight-forward approach and helpful medical insight.
I was very pleased with my appt with Dr Velez-Camacho. He is a very attentive and helpful doctor. His staff was professional and friendly.
Dr. Velez-Camacho listens! While not many doctors these days seem to, he listens and addresses each issue.
Low wait time, explained everything clearly.
From start to finish everyone was pleasant.
It is actually as pleasant visit considering it is a Dr's visit. Everyone is as nice as can be. Very helpful
The Dr was very nice and took time to explain what course of action he wanted to take with getting me back to feeling better.
Dr Velez-Camacho is very knowledgeable and patient. He was very proactive about ordering tests and questioned previous care. We sought him out for a second opinion and he didn't disappoint. Highly recommend his expertise
Came into the ER after having a crazy constellation of symptoms and Dr. Velez-Camacho told me I was having a migraine. I told him I don't have migraines and that this was something more serious. Went to another neurologist who caught that I actually had MS. He didn't take me seriously so for that I give 1 star.
My experience is amazing. Dr Velez-Camacho is the best. He listen carefully and explain everything.
Was very please with our first visit with Dr. Velez-Camacho. My Husband has Lewy Body Disease/Parkinson.
Dr. Hector Velez Camacho is an excellent Dr. I feel very comfortable with him. He definitively
knows what he is doing.
Hector H. Velez-Camacho, MD was a very attentive at listened to all my symptoms and assessed my neurological health very well. He asked questions and actually listened to what my husband and I had to say. He did not rush us at all and made sure that we understood everything that he was suggesting to us. He referred me to a few tests and once we get the results, we will go from there. We were very satisfied with our visit. The office staff was also friendly, yet professional.
Dr. Velez-Camcho Is a great doctor. Very attentive, very thorough, very kind, and compassionate with my mother. My mother was seeing him when he had his office at Bruce B Downs. He moved to Riverview, so we decided to see another doctor but were not happy. We ended up seeing Dr. Velez-Camacho again.
