I worked for Mr. Heinz for a very short period of time as a funeral director. Not only did he disrespect me, but Also treated the families poorly. Worst of all, he was disrespectful to the people he worked on in the preparation room. He keeps things from families. Remember the Todd family of Inverness? Remember what you did with that poor women’s remains? I do.

David Heinz took care of both my Dad's and my Mom's arrangements. From the very start he and his family made the process as easy as one could hope for when in this situation. There was not one thing I could ask for to be handled differently. I would highly recommend David and his family to take care of any needs you might have when you have lost a loved one.

You may have noticed I mentioned David's family. Heinz Funeral Home is a family owned business, where all of his family is involved. In this day of corporate buy-outs it is refreshing to work with a family owned business where you are treated just like family. Rest assured you will be happy you have chosen David Heinz to take care of your loved ones.

There aren't enough words to express our thanks. David is totally amazing. From the moment he come and picked up our mom he was patient and kind. David went above and beyond. He even came in on a saturday so we could bring mom home. Explained everything in detail every step of the way. I was so focused on Dad and David made sure everything done was done as we all agreed. He made sure we were all on the same page. In a time of overwhelming grief David gave us the advice, direction as well as the comfort we needed. Thank you so very much!

I’d give no stars if that was an option as this was the most unprofessional funeral director Ive ever met. My mother used to be the cosmologist for funeral
Homes while I was growing up and I spent many days with her while she worked. David is pompous and condescending, charged for things we didn’t use and refused to give the executor a death certificate. Went out to the parking lot while I was in the rest room to snag my visiting brother to sign cremation agreement in the parking lot! He’d never mentioned he needed other signatures! This morning I received and email that I could pick up my mother’s remains! I’m sick as we let (who we thought was my mom) go in a balloon LAST WEEK! And some of us have small Urns with her ashes. Now, we have no idea who we have or if it’s the correct ashes!

Just over heard a conversation with my boss and the director of the funeral home. She called to let them know that having her brother sign papers in a parking lot, of which the brother knew nothing about, was unproffessional and inappropriate. He then proceeded to argue with her about it. I feel horrible that they would make her and her family feel even worse in a time like this. She told me he was cold and indignant and not consoling at all.
