My mother suffered a mild stroke several weeks ago & had to arrange for her to have live in help when she was being discharged from the rehab In order to make that work, I 1st had to have some of her furniture rearranged & I needed it to happen fairly quickly. I went online & started calling moving companies to see if that was something they even did. Each place quoted me a price that seemed quite high, as if I was actually moving, & it included an 18% fuel charge. When I called Helping Hands, their price was 1/2 of what the others quoted & no fuel charge! I read some good reviews & decided to use them.
Their guys were prompt, polite, professional and caring. I had an unexpected last minute large piece of furniture that couldn’t fit anywhere and the owner gave me a very fair price for it to be removed since they also do junk removal. They truly do care about customer satisfaction as was evident in the excellent communication I received before & after the job was completed. I highly recommend Helping Hands!

The owner was always quick to respond to my questions through out the move and prior to. The 3 gentleman that moved me were outstanding. Professional, on time and extremely careful. I lived on the 3rd floor without an elevator. They moved an entire 2 bedroom apartment. I had to move my grandmothers 100 year old china closet and they were extremely careful. Would highly recommend them.

Amazing communication. Early. Seamless… things you don’t typically experience with a moving company. I asked Dennis and his team pretty last min to pick up a piece of heavy equipment on a Saturday am. He made it work. Couldn’t be happier with my experience. Would recommend him and his team for any move.

These folks came out early during tremendous rain and wind I am told. I live in Virginia Beach Va. We cleared her property last week while she was rehabilitating and the folks at Helping Hand were sensational.

I recently hired Helping Hands Moving LLC for my relocation, and I can't recommend them enough. From the get-go, they were responsive to my initial inquiry, answered my detailed questions, took the time to see pics of what was being moved so that the correct estimates on how many movers, time, and cost should be. I spoke with Dennis who was very courteous, professional, and straight forward.
On move day, I was notified of when they would arrive and their punctuality was evident. The team arrived right on schedule, ready to work, and with smiles that set a friendly and reassuring tone for the day.

What stood out to me was their utmost respect for my belongings and property. They handled each item with care, as if it were their own, ensuring everything was secured and transported without a single scratch. Their efficient methods and thoroughness impressed me; they seemed to have a strategy that maximized time without compromising on carefulness. For example: they disassembled and reassembled a king and a queen beds without any issues, moved a very heavy armoire without an issue, etc.

The crew's (Courtney, “Old school” David, and Kory) friendliness and professionalism made what is typically a stressful experience for me, much more pleasant.

This was the second time I used this company, the first time was through hire a helper and they were phenomenal, which is why I called again. This time was not a great experience. The same items were moved with an additional man and it took longer. I gave a 3 star because the first move was a 5 star the second a 2 star so 3 seems more than fair. There was a lack of cooperation between the 3 movers. My advice is 2 men or 4 men 3 men was a hindrance.the first move was not a storage unit it was a house and in addition there was a storage unit that was also emptied.

Used the service for local move (15-20 mins drive). Had them helping moving heavy bulky furnitures. They finished loading and unloading under 3 hours. This is the second time using their service and we had no regret. Will use them again. Professional, efficient and fair price.

The big issue with them is that moving crew is hired by so called company. What's the issue? Inconsistent promises and services. Crew even denied and actually refused to comply with what the company promised. At the top of that, the crew 3 times made racism comments, I'm glad I did control my emotions. Otherwise, it would have ended up a big fight. Imagine being insulted in your home. What made ne leave this review is that The Manager were supposed to reach out and hear our complaints. They never cared, so don't be fooled by fake positive reviews

Everything was perfect from booking by telephone with Dennis through the conclusion of my move with Courtney & Dave! I was in contact with Helping Hands Moving before, during and after my move! The price was reasonable and the service was exceptional! I have used other moving companies in the past and Helping Hands Moving was by far, the BEST! I highly recommend them for a small or large Move!

I called Helping Hands Movers three days prior to my scheduled move. Two moving companies cancelled last minute and rescheduled for a time that did not work for my allotted reservation time. Dennis immediately answered my phone call and after taking my moving inventory, provided me with a quote and followed up with a text of all the prices, details and payment information. Over the next two days, Dennis communicated and stayed in touch. The morning of the move, I received a text and call informing me that moving crew was on the way. The crew led by Devaun, arrived 17 minutes early and after looking at the layout, gave me the game plan for the move. The move was done with a 3 man team who all worked in unison and each understood their roles. The crew protected all my items and completed the move without any damage or delay. Moving can be a nerve racking experience but Helping Hands movers took the anxiety out of the experience. I will use Helping Hands movers again and recommend the same to others.

We called Helping Hands to unload a Pod of our belongings. Devaun and Adrian arrived promptly at agreed upon time. That is rare in South Florida. They were friendly and polite and really seemed to enjoy their work. They took great care with our belongings as well as the woodwork and walls as they brought things in. They really worked hard and very efficiently. We were very happy with their service. Thank you, Dennis, for sending us two great guys. I highly recommend Helping Hands.

Dennis and his team were Great! They were very professional and arrived before time. I highly recommend them. They even went up the Attic to get the rest of the stuff that I needed to get rid of. Great customer service, even after I already had paid. I remembered I forgot other items and they came right back to get them and didn't charge extra. They deserve more than 5 stars! I'm definitely keeping his number and recommending to friends, family and colleagues. Thank you Dennis and his team for all the help!
