Edit: This review was left due to a heavy discounted service. $20 for $120 service charge. He also showed up on Valentines day with chocolate for me and wanted a date.

When I request repeat service over a year later for a fee, because it did worked I got chit chat and blah blah. Let me help you with life. If you'd like a creep in your home. He's the guy.

I live in an apartment complex and have a month service to treat/prevent for roaches etc. Recently had an issue with roaches company began coming once a weekly per request, spraying harmful sprays etc without success. The problem continued to worsen, so I contacted Henderson Pest Examination threw recommendation and after ONE animal & child safe treatment I am pest free! I could not be more pleased!

The experience was awesome. Even when I had an issue from the visit it was fixed without hesitation. I will use them again

Have had the service for years, always comes out for additional treatments if needed, answers questions promptly, and no more termites!

After in depth discussions with several companies, I went with Mr. Henderson, because he was not offering superfluous treatments, seemed kind and genuine, and the offer was a good value. I chose so well! We get zero junk mail from him, he always leaves a descriptive receipt when he visits, and if I have had to contact him, he is very quick with the reply (often answering directly). He has gone the extra mile with ensuring our bait stations are in place after a little mishap, making sure we have enough without charging extra, and answering any questions. In addition, the last time we lived on the ground floor (in a TX apartment), the pest situation left something to be desired. I was nervous to have a ground floor in the south again. Have never had such a peaceful, bug-free experience indoors. I love that the default is for him to spray the interior at the first visit only. Unnecessary use of chemicals is not at all my preference. Highly recommend.

Stay away from this guy, Johnnie Henderson. He does not live up to his contract and sales pitch. We hired him in August of 2022. We wrote a check for $1600 for annual service. He told us that he will come every 90 days. When we called to schedule the 2nd visit since he hadn't come, he changed the schedule, saying he only needs to come every 4 months. I have pets and like to know when someone will be spraying outside my house. He never called in advance, just showed up randomly. He only treated inside the house the first time, even after asking him to come in again, mentioning that there was a roach. He said, "That's Florida" and wouldn't come in to treat again. When he came, he spent 5 minutes walking around my house outside and then he was gone. Only knew he came because of seeing him on the camera. Also left my hose running one time he came. We found it over an hour later.

To cancel the contract, we sent a certified letter to his PO box as per contract guidelines. He never retrieved the certified letter after over a month. When asked, he said I didn't need to send it certified. How else am I going to have proof that I sent it and he received it. He knew it was coming, because we emailed to him to advise of it being sent and he responded that email.

He came to pick his equipment yesterday after we called him. Pulled the bait stations out the ground and left big holes. Then walked all over my patio, leaving dirt everywhere from his shoes. He cleaned the stations on my house and driveway, leaving all the dirt there.

No manners. No Customer service at all!

Very professional, responsive, good at educating about what he's doing and why. Have never seen an insect in the house since using him and any ad hoc requests have been handled quickly.

2 yrs later still have termites! Once the contract was signed got nothing but the run around. Never got included mosquito treatment, after signing, he said it didn't really work. At estimate he said attic entrance was no problem after signing, he said he couldn't get up there, I reminded him of his previous answer & suddenly he could manage to get up there. Gave me 2 days notice that I would have to cover my real wood floors with new flooring, a $4000 expense. When I called about treatment not working & termites now into my furniture, he gave big lights & sticky paper that anyone can buy. Stopped taking his calls as I plan to go to court over the continuing damage. This experience been a costly nightmare

I own a commercial property in winter haven and I had this guy out to help us with a termite issue. He quoted me one thing over the phone and then changed the price when he got to us. While I was surprised by the price increase I agreed to go along with it because he seemed knowledgeable.

He also wouldn’t accept anything but cash which I found odd, I paid him $2200 cash and now I know why he takes only cash, he’s super shady and runs a questionable operation. He also claims that his “sister” handles the accounting because he isn’t good with money, said this right in front of me and my partner. Some red flags I regrettably ignored.

The property is a mini market with 2 apartments above it. The primary concern was the mini market. He came to the units above and performed the termite service, he was there for maybe an hour. He returned to the site one other time to try and do the market but was unclear in his instructions and didn’t even contact me from the site to let me know what was going on or that there was a problem and he left. Later on we spoke, he said he would come back when he finds time, months go by and no contact.

He finally reached out to me making up different excuses and chores for us to do to prepare the site, real weird and unprofessional texting me at 1-2 am. He changed his site instructions numerous times although according to other pest control guys, he should have been the one preparing the site, not the customer. I never would have agreed to do business with him had he told me this upfront. His change request were a violation of our agreement and were unrealistic. He gave us too short of notice to even try and accommodate and at this point we don’t want him on the job any more. In total he made 3 “preparation” site change request and the final one was almost impossible to prepare for without considerable extra work and heads up.

After all this I have decided to cancel the service and he is holding my full $2200 and refusing to refund me for the incomplete work.

We looked into this guy a bit further. First off, he appears to have phony google offices all over central Florida circumventing googles TOS for local service area businesses. Each listing gos to the same phone number where he answers the phone, not someone in an office. He also has a decent amount of reviews where customers have similar stories to mine, ie bait and switch pricing, playing stupid games with people and wasting their time.

I am going to forward all this to my attorney and sue him for the unfinished work/dispute plus attorney fees. I am also going to file a complaint with consumer affairs and his licensure board.

We are just getting started with you “Johnie” boy, wasn’t smart to play games and rob me, picked the wrong one this time I promise.

Becareful with agreeing to 1st year because if you don't submit a cancel request in time you automatically have to pay for a 2nd year no matter what. Very expensive for the next year.
