Henry Morrison Flagler Museum reviews
13 This magnificent home of Henry Flagger is a must of you want to appreciate massive wealth of one of founders of Palm Beach's "rich" past, as well as individuals! While a great house, it pales in comparison to my favorite great houses in Newport, RI. Still, go see it;)
* The bedroom photo is that of Flager's servants; a different/important perspective.
Well worth a stop. One of the better museums I have been at. Great staff helping you with any questions you might have. If you're in the area, a must see.
A little on the pricier side. Having the free audio tour is a must to understand the spaces. Their are a lot of nice quiet place to sit and relax. Beautiful spaces!
This is a superb museum, a must for everyone who wishes to learn about the history of Florida, the guilded age, Henry Flagler and the spirit that built up the USA. A bit of Newport Rhode Island in Florida.
Visited on a Sunday, and what a beautiful day to visit. A must see if you are in Palm Beach, very historical. The only downside was that the third floor was closed and that it closed at 5pm on a Sunday. Audio self guided tours are free, there is also an app in case you want to bring your own headphones.
Fantastic place to learn about Florida history and glimpse the lifestyle of one of history's richest men.
Beautiful home and grounds. Great views of the Intercoastal. Lots of history to see inside the residence. It's like walking back in time. $18 admission for adults over 18 years. Free parking. Would have been a better experience with a live person tour guide.
Must see/do if in the area. Great location and grounds. Try to attend when Ron is giving the tour. An absolute joy. Also, gift shop employees entertaining.
Wow! Decadent lifestyle!
I would have given a 5 but the audio tour guides were annoying. We didnt use it but you could hear the recordings that other patrons were listening to so it distracted from the whole experience.
Great experience.went over the weekend and loved it, made us feel as if we were in a Downton Abbey episode. Only negative was we really wanted to do the tea service but was told they don't do on weekends which sucks because I feel the weekend is peak day for the place with a lot of visitors to not do that. Overall its a blast and a must do
I must say when in Palm beach. A tribute to the opulent lifestyle of the gilded age. Wish they would have had dossier on the weekend but the self-guided tour with the handheld listening device was great
Such an interesting museum full of history. They don't offer tours to my knowledge, so I would recommend taking the self-guided audio tour instead.
The lace room is incredible and worth the trip alone. Don't miss the private railroad car either.
Tickets can be purchased online or in person. They cost the same either way at $18/adult. You can also buy tea tickets for $50/adult.
Marvelous fascinating railroad magnate $18 fee.a bargain.
Business man with vision.brought railroads to Florida.
