Ian did a beautiful job of framing this very special painting for me. Throughout the process he was always very courteous and helpful. He asked me to email him photos of the room where the painting would be hung so that he could make informed framing suggestions, and he was right on target. Was looking for a reasonably priced local framer to frame about ten posters for our government office. My assistant reached out to heritage and connected us. I was shown a variety of frames and based on the office’s current decor, the current trend, and colors in the posters, Heritage helped me select the most suited frames to accent them. The co-owner Linda was extremely organized and had taken pictures of all the pieces that I had given her; I had never even thought to take this important step in order to keep track of the posters submitted. Ian and Linda both visited the office to access the office‘s aesthetics and to offer their subject-matter guidance with the frame selection, the placement of the works, and the install as well. These posters rounded out a project that was started in 2015 and they as well as other works went on to be included in a region-wide storyboard that our office comprised and submitted to our headquarters. I say let all support our local vendors when they support us with excellent goods and services as Heritage does. Bravo Heritage, keep up the good work!

I recommend Heritage Art Galleries strongly for framing, restoration and digital solutions. Recently Ian cleaned a large oil painting from the 1930’s and restored the frame. Previously he has done multiple framing jobs and even digitized and “Warholed” a personal picture from the 60’s. Ian is a delightful person to work, highly competent, trustworthy and always delivers on schedule.

The owner, Ian, runs a truly wonderful shop and does incredible work. I had found a 45 year old Albert Huie canvas painting of my mother, rolled up and stuffed away while cleaning out her closet. I brought it in for restoration work. Ian quoted a reasonable price and kept in constant communication during the process. He expertly touched up all the cracked, chipped areas, and added varnish as well. The color of the restored areas match perfectly. It looks like it was supposed to look now and can be hung on our wall. We have more work that we will be bringing to this gem of a shop. They are friendly, local, and family owned. Ian was amazing to work with on a project that needed a very short turnaround time, he called to say it was completed earlier then he originally estimated. He did a fantastic job on the dry mount and quality work on the framing and finishing.
