The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office works, tirelessly, to protect and serve the citizens of Hernando County. It is a blessing to live in Hernando County knowing that the Sheriff’s Office is looking after my family and I as well as all of the citizens who reside in this great county!

There here to help the citizens but didn't wanna listen to what I had to say only to protect landlords that are horrible to good people that put in time and day into their home just to be treated as if we did nothing and let the place go to no good.

I have several motorized bikes and ATVs riding up and down wayside court and skyline. Most are kids under the age of ten. They come out 5 to 6 pm daily and the noise is ridiculous. Wonder if this is legal.

I want to specifically thank Deputy J. Mathis for his swift action in solving and resolving a hit and run. He was quick and thorough. He was also extremely courteous.

They listen to lies never tell the truth never help me or my children when we had problems but I get hit and nothing was done my eye is black n blue my right toe swollen did I do that 2, I called and told them what happen and I wad told they want to arsest me for telling what happen I will never ask them for help again I will never tell them if I see a crime and the only thing i have to say is smarting up to the county officers

Hernando County deputies Louis Genovese, Kenneth Van Tassel and Steven George say the deputies attempted to cover up the beating. Is this the way you idiots work?

My experience pertains to fingerprinting services only. I went in early in the morning, signed my name on the list to be fingerprinted, and watched as 4 Brooksville PD officers (3 in uniform, 1 in street clothes) come in after me and sign the list, yet were all called in to get fingerprints taken before me. What is the point of the list? Maybe officers should be offered fingerprint times separate from the general public so as not to piss off those of us patiently awaiting our turn in line.

I would like to thank the Hernando County Sheriff's office for their quick response and professional in handling of my request for lost hunters. My son and his friend went hunting supposedly in the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area. At least that was the hunting plan left by my son. Along with the excellent communication of the deputy contacting me several times to update me on progress it's was determined threw a cell phone ping that they were hunting a totally different management area approx 50 miles away. The deputy along with the FWC and air support were able to locate the lost hunters. Providing them aid and assured their safety. The constant communication from the deputy was above and beyond. In a day when there is so much negative regarding our fine law enforcement. It's a comfort to know such professional and compassion exists with Hernando County Sheriff's along with FWC Officers. Thee Hernando County Sheriff's Office is a great unit to have in Hernando County. All of my dealings with them they have always been professional and helpful. I know a few employees personally and I can tell you that they truly care about the community they serve.

Man these police are tough and smart. Happy to have some good police around residents take for granted sometimes. I appreciate the hard word and time they put in to keep balance.

You said it all right there I and my family and many others know intimately how corrupt they really are.

There needs to be an investigation into the activities of this county and all police departments.

It really is disturbing how there isn't any oversight into any government operations on a public level. Sometimes they are worse than the criminals.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for protecting all the public on a daily basis. Also yesterday your dept provided all the biker community on a memorial run for 9-11. You all did a fantastic job in providing a safe passage to our destination.

All that you do goes so unappreciated by some people but there is a majority that appreciates you putting your life on the line everyday just to make us safe!

Hernando's finest does a great job, and if you dont agree than great chance is your a criminal or shady and mad cause they guys busted you one time or another.

Very good Sheriff, good leadership and quality officers.

I have met many who care about this community and prove it by taking to the time to meet with local crimewatch groups.

They have good interest in community policing and receptive to get more patrols on the Weeki Wachee River.

There was a time when I would not day this but I have seen the sheriff's office change over the years and see them really trying to make a difference when it comes to the drugs and the crime on our streets. God job guys keep it up and be safe.

The police went into my temple. Tried to darken my doorway. I was brought here by Gods other servants, who are ridiculing you all as soon as you report this.)

Most crooked cops I've ever encountered. Even saw them throw garbage into a ditch. Nothing but corrupt nazi like cops.

Hernando Sheriff's Office is a quality law enforcement organization. Especially in the face of the financial challenges with which they are asked to operate. Their street deputies are always respectful and professional and we should feel safer that they are here to assure our safety.
