Hertz, Miami FL

I do not like to provide bad reviews but this was the worst experience I've ever had renting a car. My appointment was at 3 pm I left the location almost at 5 pm they were telling me the excuse that the car was dirty and that it needed to be cleaned. I waited two hours and they never cleaned the car. I told the employee that the car had not been cleaned. He took the car to the back and he comes right away back with the car exactly the way it was the first time. They gave me a car that someone had being smoking inside. I have problems with my lungs I also had covid 6 months ago I am always short of breath I have to carry an oxygen can. I thought rental car companies don't allow smoking in the cars. They should have disclosed because there's people that have medical condition like me. I have a sore throat and I don't feel good. I was supposed to leave today and I had to delay my trip until Friday because I had to clean the car inside and put desinfect and clean it. I hope all the odor goes away. They also put 3 air fresheners, look at the picture and they never disclosed regarding the smoke odor in the car. I will never rent from this location again. I want a credit for not being able to leave today and giving me a dirty car plus the cigarette smoke odor. The car has roaches and I purchased bomb roach kit and there are still roaches in the car.

I booked online and only once I got there, they told me they had no cars available. Not sure why they would have it available online, or why not give the heads up once it is booked.

Chris Castillo served us. We got the wrong car, dirty inside and outside. Tires were low on the first day and the car got into security mode.
Chris was absolutly terrible, he was slow (50mins to get a car already reserved), and not helpful at all

NEVER AGAIN! A shame!

I paid for a convertible model, when I arrived they told me they don't have one, so I got a worse car, not convertible and dirty!
And of course no financial compensation!
But why rent cars you don't have? You are a scam!

In addition to being a shame, Hertz is dangerous! Indeed, after one day I got an alert telling me that the tires were deflated. I tried to call several times Hertz who referred me to the local agency where I picked up the car. They put me on hold each time and hung up on me after 10-15 minutes.
I had to call some locals to help me! What a shame!

Bad customer service, dirty place, the only bathroom is out of service, cars are dirty from the outside, they are not washed. Cars have problems, an example AC dosent work or seat belts. I dont recommend this place.

This is the first time that I am writing a review. The experience was so horrible that I thought the one thing that I can do was to warn others about this HORRIBLE business with unethical practices and horrible customer service. I rented a car for one day. They charged me for 6 days. I had to jump through endless hoops to get it rectified. After several phone calls, and waiting two weeks to get my refund, they issued the refund as if they were doing me a favor. I was also charged $25 for tolls when I had my own Sunpass. I am being asked to jump through more hoops to get that rectified. Their mistakes has become my problem. I went to the office to get a receipt. I had to walk out. I waited patiently for 15 minutes. They were taking care of people walking in without even acknowledging my existence. This place has the worst business practices and customer service that I have seen in a very long time. Go elsewhere. There’s an Enterprise right down the street. I had no problem there.

This was the worst experience in all my years of renting cars; TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We almost lost our vacation trip because of them. The car that I reserved a long time in advance was given to another person in front of me, even though I was waiting the whole time and half an hour before all the rental car services closed, they told me; They didn't even help us look for cars in other places. They wanted to give us a luxury car at double the price for what we had reserved. AND THE MANAGER NEVER SHOWED UP!

Never rent, horrible place, do not rent a bad experience, bad workers including the manager who does not know how to treat the public, they give you a dirty car, the worst of the worst, they want to double charge you and tell you things that are later lies.

Very professional service, I dealt with Sterling. Very efficient and prompt pick up and drop off.

Very bad service when i arrive to pickup my car they say that i need to pay extra charge because they don’t have the car I rented. I lose money to bring here in Uber and also i need to wait 3 day to they can return my money.

Renters be careful. This has been the worst experience with Hertz. This office is very unethical and dishonest as a matter of fact the perfect combination of both. Agent added insurance on my rental when I specifically said that I didn’t want it because I have Geico and my card also covers rentals. Called and email Manager Luis whom couldn’t even care less about helping after I spoke with him and never replied to email requesting a refund of the unauthorized transaction.

The first car they gave me was also disgusting and had Terrible cigarette smell.

I wouldn’t recommend to anybody. Go to a different location or the airport if you can.

I can't speak enough on how Luis the Manager of this Hertz and his team has the best customer service, very professional. I would recommend anyone to go to them for rental needs.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! This business is fraudulent and will overcharge you. Without my knowledge, I was charge for TWO different insurances. Additionally, I made a car reservation in person and provided the agent my AAA card to waive the underage fee. He conveniently excludes my AAA card info so I would be upcharged. I called Hertz customer service and they did nothing. They said we cannot do anything for you because the AAA card number was not in the rental record, but that is not my fault. The agent forgo adding my information.

I've had the best experience at this Hertz. I was in such a pickle and Mr. Marange went above and beyond to help me get a rental. This company definitely knows the meaning behind customer service. Thank you so much!

We just rented a car with this location. Staff, including the manager, Morange was friendly and helpful. Our car was very clean. Super smooth process pick up and drop off.

I usually do not write reviews because I am always busy, but this deserves a recognition. I Rented an SUV 2 weeks ago for a week, the rental process was quick and no issues the vehicle was great big enough and drove smoothly, but most importantly the service I received was fantastic. Last week when I dropped the car off my phone was broken and could not call a taxi or uber, but the manager Morance was so nice he even gave me a ride back home. I recommend this office very professional, and all personnel was extremely helpful.

I rent cars at the Hertz that’s close Tamiami airport. On several occasions Sterling has helped with the rentals. Of our cars, he’s Very nice and accommodating. Will continue to rent from them.

DO NOT book any reservations here. I came to pick up reserved vehicle and he told me “sorry I don’t know when are we getting your car” no time nothing. Horrible service. Not reliable at all.
