The only car rental that I was able to rent one way from FL. I made the reservation online and was able to check in very quickly. Recently, my car was being repaired and I've rented cars at different times from Enterprise because they were nearby. Once Enterprise called a hour before I was to get a car to say they didn't have any and three times despite having a reservation for a mid size car when I went to pick it up, they only had the smallest car they have. Hertz had exactly what I reserved. It was like new, very clean and drive great. It took less than 5 minutes to check in and to return the car. I will only use Hertz from now on!
Ben is the worst upper management I've ever dealt with. He's unprofessional. He will let his employees add things to your contract without you knowing. As long as you signed the contract he says you knew. He has no idea how to talk to people. This is what Hertz wants to promote their company. They were even evicted from the airport because they won't pay rent for the past 2 years. People like Ben is why I've always rented from Enterprise!
No problem reserving a car online but when we went to pick it up the staff said that we couldn’t have the car because the name on the card was different than the reservation. We asked if we could change the name on reservation and was told there was nothing else they could do for us. When I called I spoke to Richard who manages both Ocala locations. He had a solution to our problem and I asked why that wasn’t communicated while we were inside and he just said that we were dealing with somebody else. So we drove back to the location and the employee that was helping us didn’t know how to put in the reservation. He kept asking Richard for help and didn’t know how to proceed on his own. After we left I saw the invoice for our car and it was $50 more than it should’ve been. The employee added protection plan without saying anything to me. He asked for my signature on a small keypad that didn’t have any information on it. I had already purchased protection for the car in the trip when I reserve the car online. When I called Richard back to inquire about the extra charge he just said that I can sent it with my signature and there’s nothing he could do. He said that we could return with the car knowing that miscommunications had already made us late for our flight. He then proceeded to give me life advice on how I should handle myself in business. No apology or accountability was ever taken for the miscommunication on his employees part. He stated that it was my fault and there was nothing else he could do.
Richard was great. Really friendly and patient w my dad who is older and hard of hearing. I gave 4 stars because WTH? Seems like hes always the ONLY one working? Will definitely be back if my dad needs a rental in the future.
They’re working as fast as they can doing awesome. One person staffed behind the desk on a Saturday, one person cleaning the cars and bringing them around, and a line out the door. Hertz needs to give these people a raise or more staff. Preferably both.
Needs more customer service help inside and they put me in a mini car that I can't hardly get in and when my foot goes to the gas pedal I almost hit the brake pedal because they're so close
Anybody that needs a rental car and in the area of Ocala, stop in the hertz rental and see Richard. He is very friendly, very efficient, and will take care of you.

Horrible customer service, they rent out vehicles that die and leave your wife stranded at a very busy intersection. Do not rent from these people!
Bad experience. Father passed away and they did not care at all! Charged $500 to turn in the car at a closer pace. I will never rent from them again.
This branch has hardly to none customer service, they can never help with anything! This will be my first and last time deal with this company. Smh
I rented a “small van or truck” for a weekend to move some clutter to a storage space. I was expecting a small van, mini-van but was given a full size transit van! I did the move in one day! I dripped the van off and the key in the drop box expecting to still be billed for the three days and planned on a long call to customer service to complain. Later that day i checked my credit card and was surprised and happy to see I was only charged for the one day! I’ve already told 3 people how impress I am, and took time to do the survey and post on here, something I usually only do when I have a complaint! Very satisfied with Hertz!
Hertz. The Spanish Springs Office. They Operate That Location Flawless. Great Counter Agents. Very Knowledgeable. They Appear To Get The Customers On There Way. Whether renting the car or returning the car from rental. I witnessed it as a smooth operation. Thank You Spanish Springs Hertz Location.
Very poor customer service especially from the Spanish boy and John they answer the phone and they don't know how to answer your question for half an hour. You're on the phone and they can't answer your question and they don't explain to you all their policies prior to you getting the car for example toll. They are very abrupt ruled and disrespectful the end of the phone while you're talking to them.

I book a car 2 days in advance. The day before I called to confirm. Hertz said they have a reservation in my name, but that did not guarantee there would be a car when I arrive.
Not thrilled that you can't drop the car off at another location in state or out. Hertz has always been my go to rental company. After this last rental will definitely be looking into other companies.
Customer service was terrible. Lady was on the phone arguing about personal problems at work and had an attitude. Would not recommend. ️

Cold out, waiting outside because even though reservation was made car isn't even ready. Waited 30 minutes! Went through priceline and they tried to charge more. Thankfully someone stopped the employee and explained. Go to Enterprise. ALWAYS upgrades with Priceline. Cleaner vehicles. Our first and last (done through our company who ALWAYS use Enterprise). We will never use Hertz again. Plus their prices are higher. So disappointed. My travel blog will appreciate this review. Also beware.they spray the inside with such heavy perfume it'll make you sick! Go elsewhere!
