Hertz Car Rental - Miami, Hialeah - 49th Street HLE

This place is big scam and false advertising people out of there money. Reserved a car month ago to come to find out the car was not there. They told me they had 1 for 10 dollars more so I agreeded but them came back to tell me they don't have it either. Then they told me to do another reservation and that it will be more expensive. Really?

The staff is amazing! Always helpful and friendly. Roberto is great and so is the girl that works with him (sorry can’t remember her name). I rent often and will continue to do so with this team.

What a great and pleasant experience with Gretel from the Hertz at 1290 W 49 Street. She was! Very helpful and a great attitude. This makes all the difference. Thank you Gretel.

For 10 years it was the.best location to rent with the best customer service.but today after driving behind me the manager roberto before entering his work I instigated an incident of rage driving through a school zone and after insulting and honking the horn several times I asked him what was wrong and he continued.insulting in front of his.work what can we.expect from people.like him who already reported it to his.supervisor poor people.in.anger they have.to.stop



I used to come to this place to rent every time I had an issue with my car and was a lot the people from before were great, always helping and with a good attitude. Today I came for a car and after taking my payment they said I can't rent without a CC an Equinox. Really, this is the car that we always rent because we have kids and is comfortable. Besides the attitude of this two ladies here that do not go extra for their job and now I paid and I have to call for them to refund me. Hertz was a good place. This is the last time and we do not recommend this place at all

Everytime i was calling this location to book a reservation, Stephanie kept putting me on hold. & after more than 35mn waiting and tried one more time to reach someone in the location, she picked up the phone again and said no vans available! 1 star too much for this place

I had an accident so the insurance company made my reservation. I was told to call to confirm when I was going to pick up the car and so I did, seven times! I’m still waiting to talk to someone or get some type of confirmation.

… worst experience impossible, first time for never again. The price seemed good but they have several hidden fees that they charge you over the months after you return the car, then you call to complain they invent several things and don't return the money. Employees don't exchange information with each other, they don't even know them actually.

Don't rent car in this place expensive, stay away from hidden fees. I took a parking ticket, I paid the ticket online and hertz even charged me the amount related to the ticket. I tried for a refund and they told me it was for the convenience of having taken the fine. A bunch of ignorants. Disqualified people.
How can they charge me for something I paid for?

I used a car from them per 3 days in August and they are charging me hidden fees until now in November, I got a parking ticket with the car and I paid online but they still charged me $30 extra and gave me most stupid reason for it.
Run away from this company.

The staff and service was great. Now the facility is a shame is in such lack of cleanliness. Corporate should get their act together.

We have been renting a cargo van 3-5 times a year from this Hertz office for a few years now. The price has been great, consistently <$400 for 7 days. The last time was this past June when it cost $353. Just tried to book the usual van, usual days, but the price is now $900. I would have been a customer for life as I do need a van multiple times a year, and I even felt good about giving business to a company in trouble. But I will not stand for price gouging or unreasonable increases so I'll take my business elsewhere. The staff have always been great. The company, though, seems to have completely lost the plot! Prepare to be sticker shocked.

Long waits.difficult to locate drop offs.did not make changes and severely overcharged! Awaiting explanations and refunds.

Horrible experience. We had made a reservation for a car to get it on a Thursday & when we got there it was not ready so the branch manager (Maryuri) told us to come the next day & it would be ready at 5 pm. When we got there on Friday, it was closed with no one in sight & we had called ahead but no one answered. Terrible experience, don’t come to this location.

Worst experience ever. We were staying in a local hotel and moving to another hotel in Palm beach the next day. Booked a reservation online for a mini van. Took an Uber there the next day and was told that they didn't have our minivan (or any vehicles) to rent to us. We then had to take another Uber back to our hotel, and then a $180 Uber to Palm Beach. What is the point in having a reservation? Not sure if this is how Hertz operates all of their locations, but this place is a complete joke.

I walk in he never spoke to me. Then assume I speak Spanish. Assume the national language (English) till a person say otherwise. Never said hello or please wait. Walks into the back then speaks. Then he tries telling me a midsize is bigger then a standard. Ur job is to rent cars so know ur cars. He tells me they don’t have what I’m paying for. Which was standard suv. Offer me a Altima for 50 more then what I would have paid. Come on he saw my reservation he could have called and said something he saw my name in the system. Also all he cared about was if I was was a insurance claim smh. Assuming I had a wreck smh. I drive just fine my car is in the shop
