Hertz Car Rental - Melbourne - Harbor City Hle

After having a tire blow out in the Hertz car I rented I was stranded. I was driving through a place where all of the Hertz locations were not corporate locations. Every office I went to told me I had to pay tons more money returning a car to the wrong location and renting a new one. This wasn't in my work travel budget. I called Doreen at this Harbor City location and asked what I should do.she fixed everything for me. Even though I was very far from her office she was able to call the place closest to me and get me into a car that I could finish my drive home in. When other places said there was no way Doreen made a way.being polite and helpful the whole time. I chose Hertz because they have many offices across the country and choosing this corporate location really paid off.

Quick and friendly service. I didn’t get the car I was hoping to rent but that’s okay! Got us to point a to point b and back.

Employees were great. Car was less great, I was very annoyed with it the entire time I was driving. Pickup/dropoff procedure was reasonably straightforward. Nobody tried to high pressure sales me or trick me into buying extras, which I appreciated.

This location is the best Hertz in the country! The representatives are extremely helpful and friendly. This is just one example: Our Uber driver was late getting us there to pick up our rental on a Friday afternoon at 5pm. Any other location, would have locked the doors and went home. When we arrived, not only were they still there, but they were super friendly as always.

After being in an auto accident, I was looking for a car rental company that would pick me up after I dropped my car off at my local auto body shop. I was having issues with the original car rental place I had booked, so I called Hertz to see if they were willing to accommodate me. I spoke with Jacqueline and she was super helpful. She was able to accommodate my pickup location and time. The driver was also great. If you need a rental car, I highly recommend this location. The staff was amazing.

I had an unfortunate experience at a HERTZ car rental branch that left much to be desired. While traveling from Miami to Orlando, the windshield of the car I had rented from HERTZ unexpectedly came loose. Seeking assistance, I made my way to the nearest HERTZ location, hoping for a swift resolution. However, to my disappointment, the staff at the branch refused to provide a replacement vehicle. Left with no other choice, I had to undertake the unsafe journey to Orlando airport in order to secure a safer car.

NOT RECOMMENDED! I just came back from deployment, i tried to surprise my family, so i came here to rent a car, i booked after i landed on melbourne airport, and she call me that the car is not a available, and i just wonder if she can ask another location for me but she seem like hurry for something she wanted just want to put a phone down on me! NOT RECOMMENDED!

The manager went above and beyond to help me get a rental car. I originally couldn’t make it before they closed and when my plans changed, she was able to get me the rate I initially booked. Really great customer service. In addition, someone mentioned the selection of cars compared to the airport. I have picked up at the airport many times and while there is a larger selection, I was happy with the cheaper option I received at this non-airport location. This was an even better options than ones I’ve received at the airport.

Do not go to this one! I first went to one at Melbourne airport and it had wide selection but when I got here, they had ONE SUV like I ordered although, it was much smaller class than what I was told online I would get. The cars looked dirty. Whole place seemed useless but I wasn't allowed to go to airport because they are different. Ones franchise one is corp.
Lady who works there is very nice and as hopeful as she can be.

Drove to get me to rent the car. They also drove to Orlando to get the car for me. Prearranged reservations were key. The location made sure the reservation was filled with the trim level and vehicle size I reserved.

STAY AWAY from this place!
I’m never one to complain and am always appreciative and respectful, never write bad reviews! But it just sucks when you make a reservation and need the car to drive to get to the airport and then receive a call 1hour and 3minutes before you have to leave for the airport saying that your reservation has been CANCELED because they are out of cars… I went to the store and tried to speak with them and even thought they had 2 cards there, I guess they were prioritizing someone else.
