Great Campground with so many campsites, but with this much income, why can't the shower houses be updated. Toilets that do Not work. Be aware of the fire ants.

This place is great for wildlife. Always seeing deer, tortoises, armadillo, etc etc.even saw a bear eating garbage out the dumpster. He tore that dumpster to shreds. Had a Buffett of trash. (Just to be clear, all trash was picked up by the kind staff and volunteers the next morning).

Love this place! Great getaway! Seen deer coming in and around the park. Nice playgrounds for kids.

Camped in the tent only section and it was wonderful! P16 has plenty of shade all throughout the day and probably has the most privacy/space between it and the next spot. Other campers out here seem to understand the quiet hours rule which made the weekend even better as that seems to not be the case everywhere. Campsite was very clean and plenty of room for multiple tents/bug/changing rooms. Bugs were only bad first thing in the morning and right around sunset. There are bathrooms/showers by the RV side (packed) which was close to a 2 mile hike. Firewood is available at the park shop since you’re not allowed to collect here.

Highly recommend this campground.

I was very pretty pork. We went on the next trail. The trees and the flowers are just wonderful. You saw so many wild animals. What a beautiful experience. Everyone should take the time and go explore

Great Campground, BUT.
I strongly recommend calling in advance to check on the bathroom maintenance. Two of the bathroom buildings were closed for repairs, one toilet wouldn't flush and there's only one men's shower that works.

Camp sites are very nice and we enjoyed the museum. Everyone here was very friendly!

Super awesome place to camp and explore! Short trips are best for this area. Spend a day or 2 exploring the park, then go on down the road to the river, I think it’s peace River, but maybe it’s crystal river. Really cool area

Really nice park. Clean restrooms. People with dogs respectful. The rangers were great. We saw little pigs, deer, raccoons. The hiking trails were awesome
