The initial hold wasn’t too bad but then I got connected to “CHRIS”. Explained what I was trying to do & we proceed with the application on starting new service “so I thought”. Then tells me he has to check something & put me on hold. I waited an additional 15 minutes & the next words I hear are “Hey this is Chris, how can I help you today”. He literally just sent me back to wait on hold as if I was calling for the first time. I told him hey it’s me we just spoke about my property. He proceeded to tell me “oh sorry let me handle this, I’m going to send you to the correct department”, then put me on hold again. I waited another 15 minutes just so I could hear “Hey this is Chris, how can I help you”.

From the previous 1 star reviews, it seems you aren’t going to do anything about CHRIS or anyone else for that matter.

But I want people to see how CHRIS is Avoiding responsibility And not performing his duty as a customer service representative.

Also, on every phone call it says it’s recorded so please verify so you can see what type of employees you have Working for your company.

I called into customer service to have them take my payment. Upon reaching them, they said they can't take my payment. I don't like using computer's for payments and their Ivru for their phone stems suck when inputting my account number. Please implement customer service reps w the iron to take the bill over the phone. Ot is nonsense they do not have that option

Contacted them twice about a potential water quality problem. It's been a month with no response whatsoever other than an automated one promising my request would be processed within 5 business days. So, add yet another review to the list of customers being ignored by the Hillsborough County Water Dept.

I'd like to point out to the water department employees and the county commissioners that over the years there have been multiple water quality problems at various facilities around the country where residents tried warning employees and representatives but were ignored. Then when people ended up becoming seriously ill, it became major news, and the people who ignored the warnings had their careers ruined, became social outcasts, and some even faced legal consequences due to their negligence. The employees ignoring customers and the representatives ignoring the ongoing complaints and bad reviews about the water department should keep that in mind.because one day that could be you. Besides which, if you don't like being ignored as a paying customer (especially for something that could affect your health) then why do you think it's OK to do that to others?

The water co.was out last week after 10: 30pm to repair a water main break, though they can text and email about bills they won't do so for a water main break. We were alerted when we had no water to flush toilets or drink. The next morning at 8am, well after we were up and running brown water, they hung a pink notice on the handle of our front door (which we rarely use) telling us to boil water for two days.

We called to let them know that they could text or email us as they do the bill since we don't use the front door. The young lady on the phone was rather apathetic and said the tag on the front door was their procedure. A few days later we got a blue notice on the front door letting us know the water was okay to drink.

Since that time the water pressure in the kitchen has been lousy, after many phone calls (oh, the message that greeted me when placing calls was a recording telling people that were double-billed that the second bill was a mistake and they could disregard it) was transferred to the water treatment plant and they are looking into it.

My mother spoke with Laurie regarding some work in our area. She was able to find the information we needed and more. When my mother called back months later for documentation Laurie remembered us and was able to assist again. The information was invaluable to us and really helped us a lot

One star because I just moved in my home I called them and teco informed them of my move date being changed and pushed back teco sent the correct bill amount the water department didn't I was charged a high bill even though I didn't move in yet and I even sent them a copy of my lease which showed the date I moved in all they can say is we can't do anything basically they should have put that amount on the previous billed name.

Took over 2 weeks to transfer service to a new address due to the previous tenant owing money. On hold every day for 2+ hours. Sent numerous emails with the information they needed to clear the account for transfer. Left voicemails with callbacks being promised, never received a call back.
Oh did I mention they shut the water off on the first Monday of the month when I'd been trying to transfer services for a week prior to? This company needs new management seriously.

There was a young gentleman working on Rodine Road, my husband‘s truck had a flat tire. This gentleman was working on the fire hydrant and saw that my husband tire needed to be changed and turned around to help him. This young gentleman has true respect in helping others going above and beyond. May God bless you!
