7One of the few lil nooks and crannies in FL that ain’t completely flat.
This place is absolutely breathtaking! Don't forget to grab your most comfortable shoes and bug spray before you come and join the adventure!
This was my first time on the western side of the state since moving to Florida in 2018. I love state parks and this one is by far my favorite since moving here. I finally got to see a dang alligator! And some giant wild Aquarium Plecos in the wild. They keep that river as clear as glass. Lol
Great place for a peaceful hike. Never to crowded, lots of animals and beautiful scenic spots. Haven’t tried the camping stuff but it’s definitely on our list. Dogs are welcomed but keep them safe and close cause they do have gators
Amazing place to hike and see nature but would not recommend in the summer though lots of bugs …but just perfect December-March in the low humidity months
Great January hike with my small puppy. Rapids are stunning and I love the sounds of running water. Lots of trails, wildlife and options at this Florida state park.
Beautiful getaway from the bustle of Tampa! There were a ton of mosquitoes, so definitely bring bug spray!
