Historic Downtown Sanford

The food truck scene here is amazing. It’s a culinary heaven for some and provides excellent unique scenery for photographers. Walking along the waterfront was such a therapeutic experience after devouring some good stuffs from the food truck. Witnessing anglers having beers on the dockside after a catch-release session can change your perspective on life.

Demographics here on a given Saturday morning/afternoon are somewhat different from the Winter Garden’s and similar to that of Lake Eola’s; ethnically diverse, singles, less kids. So the food selection exactly reflects this demographic; more adventurous, bold with flavors.

It seems they are many competent eateries around the downtown. I will definitely come back to try non-truck restaurants next time!

I always love coming to historic downtown Sanford, especially in the colder months or to see Christmas lights on the historic housing. Lots of great restaurants, breweries and shops.

We were in for our daughter's wedding this past weekend. Every visit we find new things to do and shops to visit. I wish we weren't 10 hours away. This would be a great town to retire in.

Maaannn this was great.just be alert when you take the trip because you'll me tired and relaxed when you get back. Definitely worth it though.

Great place to go! Riverwalk, viewing the art, great food options, Distillery, and so much more!

No matter what time of year, there's always something to do in downtown Sanford. Day or night. Family or friends you'll always have something to do. Have fun! Enjoy!

Very nice place to walk by the water and in the memorial park also a lot of restaurants and shops

A pleasant surprise how Historic Downtown Sanford has changed for the best keeping that small town with old good looking buildings. It looks alive and renewed. Lots of local businesses, museum, places to eat. Safe, clean streets, family friendly, plenty street parking.

Downtown Sanford is very cool, I love historic downtown areas and this one has a lot to offer from shopping to dining there’s something for everyone here. The night life is always a good time, very pedestrian friendly area, and all around a good crowd.

I went to the Bicicleta shop in downtown Sanford. There were farmer's market going on but I didn't go.

If you have the opportunity to visit, don’t delay! We went to the Arts Festival and discovered so much to eat, shop, see, do! The Hollerbach German restaurant was a great place to take a break.

Visited on a not so busy day had a great time lots of stores great views of where the ferry is in the ocean
