Hog's Head Pub reviews
12Stopped by for a quick snack. Food was okay, the decor and atmosphere was what really impressed me. The little details and set up to fit in to the Harry Potter world was spot on. I would definitely recommend coming to take a look around and enjoy a butterbeer but the food was mediocre and could have been better for sure.
Great place to stop if for a bite to eat and a cold adult beverage. They have cold butter beer for those looking for it. The food is really good here and is a little better than a similar restraunt over at the Universal side. The staff are super nice and go out of their way to help you. Stop by when in Hogsmeade.highly recommended.
6/8/23-6/9/23. I had two different beers here. One each day. They are not cheep. Hogs Head beer was ok 3 out of 5. The Dragon Scale was very good 4.5 out of 5. I recommend giving both a try.
All the bartenders have been kind and professional. Serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. My favorites are butterbeer, fire whiskey, and pumpkin fizz.
Frozen butterbeer, warm butterbeer, cold butterbeer, fire whiskey, and dragon’s ale. 10/10. What an experience. The ambiance is worth the theme park prices.
A good local pub has much in common with a church, except that a pub is warmer, and there's more conversation. /William Blake/
Place with character. If you want, go back in time or pretend you with Harry Potter having good time. This place for you.
Rick the bartender is class. Watch out for Aberforth and his goat in the back. If the tables say reserved, you can ignore.
The Hog's heads is a right cracker of a spot, it is! The portions are as big as a dragon's egg and the food is fit for a giant. The roast beef is so tender it melts in yer mouth like a Beauxbatons' ice cream, and the shepherd's pie is as comforting as a warm fire in the Forbidden Forest. The ale is as good as Madam Rosmerta's, and the staff is as friendly as a house-elf. I even saw a unicorn on the menu, but I'm not sure if it's real or not. If ye're ever in the mood for a hearty meal, The Hog's head is the place to go!
Quick service! I tried the hot butter beer and that version is my favorite! Connected to The Three Broomsticks so that's convenient.
Doesn't always open when they say they do. Nice spot to get the Harry Potter drink of choice. We stop in every visit and don't forget to interact with the hogs head!
Food has no flavor and it's very expensive. Only thing I would get from their is butter bear. Go eat from somewhere else while you're there
Transport yourself into the famous tavern from Harry Potty by visiting Hogs Head. The theming is amazing, drink selection is unique (with inflated theme park prices) and it always ends up being so much fun to hangout with friends here. The line can get very long as it’s the only location with an alcoholic drink selection in Hogsmeade. Highly recommend doing some research on the “secret” drink menu.
