Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville Airport, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here because it advertised an indoor pool. The pool is half indoor, 1/2 outdoor and not heated, so the pool was closed down for the season. I was bummed about this because I switched hotels for the pool. The beds were comfortable. Room clean however housekeeping never put coffee pods in our room so we would have to go to the front desk for coffee pods. Breakfast was hot and good choices, but they ran out of standard sized plates so u had to use several cake plates, no biggie just inconvenient.

The bed ware - sheets, pillow cases, etc smelled like someone had slept in them prior to my arrival.

I cancelled my second night and rebooked at another hotel.

We planned on staying here for 3 night but checked out early with no refund and moved to another hotel. Only picked this hotel because of the pool but it was closed the whole time. When we asked when it would be open they kept saying they don’t know. That’s the only reason we picked this hotel. Staff was nice is the only reason we gave a 2 star. Other than that it was way overpriced and small. We have a beach view and heated pool at our new hotel right on the beach for less.

Great place to stay. I like Holiday Inns because they are always consistent where ever I go.

Decent hotel close to the airport. Clean, quiet and convenient to I95 & the airport. Better than being downtown

My room was clean but both drains did not drain very well. Had 4inches of water in tub when I took a shower

Room was spacious and very clean along with rest room. Staff were courteous and polite. When asked for extra coffee pods they did not hesitate to provide them.

Front desk staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Coffee was very strong. Rooms okay.

It was a little more expensive than the accommodations we usually used, but everyone loved the breakfast.

Gorge at the front desk was helpful and very welcoming! If I were to be in the area again I will stay here because of him! 5 ️️️️️ spectator!

George working the design m was delightful. The new paint and furnishings are clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced right off I-95.

Tanya at the front desk was awesome. Super kind and efficient. Avoid room 413 it smells really bad, but we were switched right away no questions asked. The beds are firm and very high off the ground or at least in the room we wound up with after switching. I'll update with that room number once we finish traveling.

Update: the crazy high beds were in 423 and the hot tub wasn't working right the temp was at 98. I let Tanya know and she went to fix it right away I was just bushed from getting stuck there so I have up and went to bed. Cute pool area for sure.

The entire building was very clean, not just the room. The staff is friendly and courteous. My only concern is the grounds around the building. I think it should be better picked up. (Cigarette butts)
Maybe offer an afternoon snack along with the breakfast.

This brand of Hotel I one of the best places I love to stay. The staff is receptive and have a "I Can Do Attitude. Rooms are fresh clean without smelling stale. Breakfast is great

Extra roomy King suite with sofabed. Nice location and decent hot and quick breakfast buffet.

Close to airport and interstates I95 and I 295. Clean, comfortable spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast with eggs, bacon and turkey sausage provided.

At 5pm on 10/26/2023 the tv went out and myself and several others were told at the front desk that they will be no tv due to cable repair left and will return in the morning.i was offered points for our next stay.we stay here often due to medical conditions and their location but will make other arrangements.
