Holiday Inn Express & Suites Milton East I-10, an IHG Hotel

That was our first time there and everything was good the rooms were big and nice free breakfast and you had to restuarant there a gas station

Perfect experience! I'm in the area to visit a friend and their family and after seeing reviews for other hotels in the area, this had the better reviews. I was quickly checked in and the room was nice. I found everything to be clean, neat and well stocked. Well lit parking lot.

We enjoyed our stay at this friendly Holiday Inn! While we arrived late and without booked reservations, the Reception was very nice and accommodating. I want to give a shout out to Jodi for helping us have a pleasant stay. Also I want to thank Housekeeping for keeping everything nice and clean inspite of messy weather. And we loved our breakfast! No coffee, no food, no orange juice, only water on the counter…. The front desk staff is behind the desk looking at his phone…. Everyone at the hotel is looking at each other confuse and upset…. I kindly asked him what’s going on with this, well…. He blamed it on the next person not showing up for work!
He should’ve took have stepped up to the plate and showed his boss everything is under control!
It’s unfortunate that a multimillion business hires employee with limited capabilities!
Time to begin retraining!

Very, very super nice place… almost too much room for just one person.very nice, super clean.

Dirty floors, dirty pillows, mold in bathroom, key card to do didn’t work upon arrival with no solution.

The staff was great. The free breakfast was great. Housekeeping was excellant. The room not so much. Beds had no support. Broken door on the cabinet. Windows need replacing. Carpeting was decent but fraying. And, the clock didn't work right.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. EVERY EMPLOYEE WAS EXTREMLY FOCUSED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WAS IMPRESSED.

I never stayed at this Holiday Inn in Milton, FL and I never will. We was in the area for basketball tournament. We stayed in a different location thus time. Today is Wednesday and they are still trying to take money off my card. Horrible customer services at the hotel.

This was my second time staying with this hotel and both times are comparable.

The room was clean but had a cleaning chemical smell when we first went in. We requested extra towels and pillows which were in the room. We found a lizard in our room this stay which we told the front desk about and they apologized for it. I can't hold that against them as it is the south and where alot of lizards live.

The pool area is decent as well as the fitness center. The breakfast was decent, not bad but not the best either. It has the usual breakfast foods but there is also a Wafflehouse within walking distance so if a quick simple breakfast isn't your thing then you have another option.

Staff are friendly overall and professional both times I have stayed. I had to stay another day and they were accommodating with adding an extra day without any problems. I like to support local mom and pop shops and they told me where to go and where to avoid. Some of the best food I've eaten.

Overall a nice place to stay. 30 minutes from the beach, 50 minutes with traffic. It is off the beaten path but I prefer that rather than a hotel right next to a noisy highway.

Our stay was lovely. Staff was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was a bit farther than I thought it was. It's right off of I-10 but it took 20 minutes to get anywhere. Granted I get the feeling that's just how Milton is. I would definitely stay here again.

2 of the 3 washcloths in my room were dirty and the shower gel is empty. I didn’t use either one in the picture. I’ve only got 8 nights left so I’ll update this if it gets better or worse.

Beds were clean and comfy, the staff was very nice and the location is great I was so glad to see a waffle house close by.had a very nice stay.

OVERALL- had to pay double $ than expected. Hard to rate… great breakfast (but missing pancakes, yogurt, juice & fruit) Clean rooms but unexpected nasty & dangerous pool -see pictures!

We booked this hotel in advance on the Holiday Inn Express website. We specifically chose a room that was a one bedroom king suite that had a separate bedroom with a door between the living area because we were traveling with children and work from home so we needed a separate room for work. The room we booked showed a separate room in the pictures with a pull out couch and mini kitchen area.

Upon arriving at the hotel and getting our room we found the room was nothing like we booked online. We had 4 people in our family and the room we were given was very small and only slept 2 people. There was one king bed, no couch to pull out for the kids and was not a suite like we had paid for.

We went back to the front desk and explained this was not what we booked. We pulled up our confirmation and showed the lady at the desk. She said they did not have the room available that we booked and said she could put us in a queen suite with two queen beds and a couch area but all one room. We explained about our need for a separate room and she said they were sorry but they did not have any rooms left like that but if we found another hotel room somewhere else they would refund us.

We did just that - went and booked another room and came back down and said we wanted a refund. She said, "She could not refund us because they have a cancellation policy. " This was the same lady that just a few minutes earlier told us to find another room and she would refund us. After getting upset and demanding a manager she finally did refund us but we ended up paying more for our new room then we should have because we did not have any advanced notice on the new hotel and ended up spending a couple hours moving our luggage around from car to room to room to car to room with two small children, late at night. It was not a fun experience.

I used to love Holiday Inn Express and have enjoyed staying at other locations many times but after this I will not stay in the future. If you are going to stay here I recommend taking good screenshots of the room that you book to ensure they are giving you what you paid for.

Other things we noticed while we were there was that the hotel seemed somewhat run down. There were pink stains on the carpet in one of the rooms, the kitchen cabinets were tweaked and hung awkward. The first room they put us in had the king bed and one hard bench thing for seating. No other comfortable seating aside from the bed. Not that these are huge deal breakers it just wasn't what we paid for and it just makes it look cheap and run down. Also, they told us upon checking in that the pool was broken and not functioning which was also disappointing traveling with children.

We booked a room here last minute due to a flight cancellation. The drive from Pensacola to this Holiday Inn is pretty quick in spite of the distance so I'd say it's a great option if you're looking for something near Pensacola International Airport like we were. The room was clean and the staff was wonderful! The older lady at the front desk is so sweet! Bathroom was spotless, bed sheets were clean and no weird smells that we noticed. Our only gripe about the room was that the air conditioner periodically would give off a loud noise but it only lasted for about 30 seconds so we dealt with it. The breakfast was just fine, typical hotel breakfast, I was surprised to see Biscuits and Gravy! That's not something usual for a hotel breakfast in my experience. There's a gas station and a waffle house a short walk away as well so this hotel is perfect if you're in a pinch!
