Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando - International Drive, an IHG Hotel

The property is clean and updated and in a great location. The staff was ok, not very welcoming. We arrived about an hour early for check-in and were told by the young lady at the desk that we would have to come back because check-in is at 3, not 2. She didn't even check to see if the room was ready or offer us an early check-in fee. We left and came back an hour later. Checked in with the line of other people at 3pm. The gentleman checking in did not go over any property amenities such as self parking areas, pool, breakfast, or wifi codes. We basic had to check the website ourselves for this information. Overall, it was a great stay, but the staff could be a little more informative and have just a little more hospitality.

To far to walk. But.very nice room and service was good. Walking distance from everything but Universal.

Walk in stay w no reservations had no normal rooms available! But the manager quickly upgraded our group to suites all for the same price! Great rooms, great location!

Incredible location, awesome rooms, and excellent staff.we were upgraded to one of the corner rooms with a beautiful view to SeaWorld, and we enjoyed Fireworks every day. Rooms were clean and served hot breakfast, and staff were so curtious.they have a gym and pool too.

My reservation from July 15 2023 until July 25 2023. I arrived at the hotel at 4: 50 am Sunday 07/16/2023 flight was late upon getting into the lobby we couldn't checked-in until 7 AM, so and my family had to sleep in the lobby/dinning area until 6AM, because at 6: 30 am they was going to start serving breakfast and they didn't want people noticing us sleeping in the lobby/dinning room area. So at 6AM the overnight worker gave us a temporary room until they resolved the issued with my reservation upon going into my room left one luggage in front of the room it got stolen. So I went to the front desk ask for the manager. The person at the front desk name Gabriel told me I have to wait until Monday to see the manager. So told my room would be ready between 2PM-3PM. Before I left Sunday afternoon to go shopping for clothes since my luggage was stolen I spoke to Kayla and what happen to my reservation that was booked since February 24 2023 she told me since I didn't show up on Saturday 07/15/2023 it was resold to someone else, I told her my flight was late beside it called a late booking regardless I'm booked until the July 25 2023, she later on in the afternoon after 3pm finally they got my suite ready. Monday morning July 26 ask to speak to the manager the lady at the front desk name Fania told me she would be in between 2 hours but she didn't know when. So I email Jenn Eckstein explained my situation, she email me back on Tuesday July 27 and called told nothing could be done until I filed a police report in which I did and notify her. On Wednesday July 28 coming back into the hotel notice a person with my luggage and told him that my luggage he said no that his luggage when i removed the tag it was mine the person got scared told he was staying in the same hotel with his so go Grandma which was a lie. When to the the front desk spoke to Raymond Soltren the front office manager and told that this person had my luggage but all my personal belonging was gone. Then this lady that she look homeless came off the elevator saying that she and her boyfriend are staying there starting to said that on Sunday someone came up to her selling my stuff but she didn't took it because it didn't fit her, but then she switch the story that she found the luggage outside the door and took it and I told her why would you not bring to the front desk knowing that didn't belong to you, she said I didn't think about that, the lady said if you want I could take my stuff out and you could have it back I told her you keep the luggage all of my stuff is gone. So I spoke to the front office manager Raymond Soltren you don't question people or stop people that don't stay her he told me this area is a tourist area plus high in crime, so in other word anybody can come up into this hotel do whatever and get away with it. The weekend come Saturday July 22 and Sunday July 23 the hotel deactivated my key card to my suite on both day, this place is a joke from management and customer services finally left out there Tuesday July 25 2023.

This hotel was a perfect spot to host my family reunion. Centrally located, close to so many attractions and clean! I highly recommend!

Warning! Warning! Run as fast as you can from this motel ooops I mean hotel! Customer service was so terrible here makes you feel like you’re bothering everyone that works there. This holiday inn location 7276 international dr needs to be investigated and should not even be affiliated with IHG hotels! Corporate better start sending some undercover guests to this hotel ASAP before this location ruins the reputation of the franchise! Do yourself a favor pick another hotel on international drive or just drive 10 minutes away to major blvd to see all the great hotel stay options there. You’re warned run run run away from this Motel!

For management: Please train your staff on how to deal with complaints about the room condition. Also, stains on bedding is the most despicable experience anyone can imagine in the hospitality industry.

Not a pleasant stay at all. I advised the front desk about the condition of the pull out sofa and the uncleaned areas of my hotel room and they very dismissive about my concern. I was able to check out after this experience and stay at a Airbnb due to the condition of my room. I just came back from a beautiful cruise to unacceptable accommodations at this hotel that had decent reviews.

The front desk person Jones Jones was very rude, our room had roaches, very disappointed at this location

My husband and I loved it! The room was very clean! The bed was comfy and I was impressed by the Dove toiletries for the bathrooms! The staff is very thorough at cleaning and enthusiastic! The breakfast buffet was pretty good with a lot of options. It’s also very conveniently located in the heart of Orlando with all the Sea World Parks! Can’t wait to go back!

It's basic but it's clean, the staff was really great and friendly and it's in a good location

Location was great in the middle of international drive. Plenty space of included free parking. Room was clean and spacious. A/c was cold and working perfectly. But I didn’t like the cleaning service though. They didn’t vacuum the floor and one time they remove the soap (why?) and never replace it.

The only thing I have to criticize about the place are 2 things, first, the room key always gave me problems, of the 2 they gave me, only one worked and sometimes it gave me a problem, and I went down to the reception and they changed it for me, they They mentioned that it could be the lock, the second thing, the laundry machines do not have a large capacity and if you are carrying clothes for a very large person like me you have to do several wash cycles and we know that washing and drying take about 1 hour each one, I think that the equipment should be improved, and put some chairs or benches to wait, the washing machines are on floors 1,3 and 5 and the ice machine on 2,4 and 6, excellent that they have several machines on different floors, but imagine that more than 1 guest thinks of washing at the same time, for everything else it is an excellent place, large breakfast area, very attentive staff, both Spanish and English are spoken, breakfast, basically It has cereals, milk, oatmeal, breads and juices, eggs (vegetable omelette, simple, scrambled eggs), pork sausages, biscuits, cinnamon sweets, fruits, coffee and tea, quite complete, breakfast is until 9: 30 am, I liked the hotel, I would definitely come back

We stayed at the Holiday Inn on International Drive for one night and it turned out to be a nightmare. Very disgusting carpet that immediately made our socks so dirty that I don’t even want to wash them. I threw them away. Unprecedentedly rude employees! The breakfast attendant offensively told us at least three times that the the breakfast was over! They only gave us four sheets of paper tissues when we checked in. When we asked for more, the answer was they didn’t have any more. Incompetent management attributed everything to language barriers. And obviously he will not do anything about it since it’s not their fault. I recommend you AVOID AT ALL COST and I want my money back.

Housekeeping sucks. They never replace the coffee. They never replace all of the towels. They didn't replenish the toilet paper. I had to call the front desk daily. The pools were not kept in working order.

Reserved a basic room, was told on site that we were upgraded to a suite.

Rooms surpassed expetations and the breakfast was surprisingly good!

I will be more than happy to stay here again

The front desk manager Ramond was very rude and disrespectful basically ruined our entire weekend. Other than that all other staff were great and room was clean.

! WARNING! From the moment we checked in, to the moment we left, we were treated with disrespect. We first arrived and needed tissues because the box in our room only had 4 tissues. When asking for a box, the front desk attendant said let me check, we may not have any left. Next, our room floors we covered with black dirt that got all over our socks and shoes. In the morning, the breakfast attendant rudely told us breakfast was over and did not offer an apology. When reporting this to manager Raymond, he threaten me by asking to come to the front desk. He refused to to have his manager call me to discuss this matter. This is a pattern of disrespect from the employees and management because of Raymond’s lack professionalism and respect. We reported this to Holiday Inn’s corporate office to investigate this location.

Other than a broken hot tub and no bacon for 7 days straight this place lived up to my expectations! Great friendly staff very helpful. They clean everything regularly and you only need to ask if you need something extra! They really treated us like we were very important to them even though there were many other guests there!
