3 My New UP Date since April 4,2022.when I experienced a not so acceptable check in on the above date. I was not recognized as an IHG Spire Elite Rewards Member at that time, I am now Diamond Elite. The all new renovated Holiday Inn Express in Pembroke Pines, FL Sheridan, is nice. I checked in late, arriving after driving 130 miles to get their. I did not appreciate the attitude of Don, the old manager who spoke to me with too much authority. He was ready for an argument, and was too strict with himself. And with this senior man, and honorable US veteran. He came across some what belligerent.and changed my rate that I'd locked in on line. He gave me a higher rate, claims I couldn't have the government rate that I'd already secured well in advance of my stay. For many past stays I've used the Gov't rate without challenge or incident, even at other properties. I was to exhausted to put up with Don acting so bossy and kinda arrogant. Now to date this property is under all new management. Great! My check in experience on 09/19/2023 was much better with this new staff. There full breakfast buffet is open, and kept clean. There's an attendant who keep food and drinks available. House keeping? Well, they just do a so called "refresh" the room, as It was explained to me. You'll have to request full service.
I frequented this Holiday Inn in the years gone by.it went down, I stayed away. Now, overall, it's a good property that made it's way back up again. The Renovations was completed. This hotel has the best staff! We had to stay here due to our AC breaking down in our home. It is very easy to get to. The breakfast was always clean and lots of choices. The carpets could have been a little cleaner, but overall everything was excellent. This is now our go to hotel in our area.
Very well maintained hotel. Great service and excellent staff. Everyone is super nice and very accommodating. Special thank you to Danielle at front desk and Ms Irena assistant manager who assisted me in my time of need. Definitivamente lo recomiendo
