Holiday Inn Express & Suites Port St. Lucie West, an IHG Hotel

We're so upset by the way we were treated by Daveyanna Cadet, and Jacob Lafferty! They were the rudest people! I can't believe the way we were talked and lied to. The hotel lost power in some rooms (ours included on the 3rd floor) very early in the morning. We had arrived late the night before after a long drive and woke to a loud fire alarm. We got no sleep! We had no power. No AC, lights, TV, elevator, nothing! Daveyanna said she was the manager, not! She refused to put us in a room with power for the rest of our 3 days there! My medicine in the refrigerator went bad! It was extremely hot in our room! We had NO electric for medical devices! For over 9 hours! Jacob Laferty, who never told us HE WAS THE MANAGER, finally came to give us a refund, and told me to shut up! I was just talking to my husband QUIETLY about how difficult it must be for the hotel! And there wasn't any other guest around! How does a hotel employee get away with treating guests like that! And he didn't give us a refund, or our points back after waiting forever!

I walked in at 2: 40 am after new years to buy some items in the front for my daughter I asked a question on an item I was going to purchase that she mention was not an item on items I grabbed and my daughter said the name of item to correct the confusion and the lady was rude telling me it's $15.00 and calling me drunk in front of my daughter and then tryed to deny me service, I had a great night and was tired and wanted to get my daughter snacks and was mistreated I don't recommend holiday inn to have that kind of additude in front desk be careful you might be judged and denied service cause of poor customer service.

We arrived on a Wednesday for a 4 night stay, when we arrived almost the entire parking lot was closed off because they were redoing the parking lot and we had to park at the very far end and walk our toddler through the reeking stench of asphalt just to get inside, then as we finished checking in the front desk associate Kamielle looked at me and said "oh, are you expecting like me" as she then rubbed on her pregnant belly, I am not pregnant and even if I was I found that to be the most rude and disrespectful thing I've ever heard from and especially to be coming from a FRONT DESK employee is outrageous. The morning of our second day we noticed the second bed in our room (which we hadn't used yet) smelled of urine all the way down to the mattress, Jacob was the one who assisted us this time and was very helpful and apologized for the inconveniences And upgraded our room with no extra charge, which we did appreciate! Maria assisted with breakfast and was always so sweet and came over to greet us every morning! The pool was basically unusable because of the smell off the parking lot and was also not heated like we were told it was at check-in. I also had another interaction with Kamielle on our last night where I was getting help for a friend who was also staying at the hotel from another associate who walked away and when I asked Kamielle if they were done, she said I don't know and pretty much refused to help us in which we walked away. House keeping barged into our room at 9am before checkout on our last morning without knocking while I was in the bathroom, and when I finished and confronted the house keeper her answer was our room was on a list, despite seeing my husband just walk out the room and the do not disturb sign still on the handle they still thought it was ok to come in unannounced which I was not happy about! The outside of our door room 506 also looked like it was broken into with a crowbar at some point! If it wasn't for a wedding party being held there we would have found a different hotel after our check-in interaction with Kamielle, we will not be returning to this location.

Very clean hotel and room. Bed look brand new. Breakfast was amazing. If you are vegetarian there.is something for you. Staff was more then helpful and allowed us to have a late check out. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointed. Check in was extremely long, with only one person in front of me that had been there for awhile prior to me coming in. They laugh, talk and play too much and being unprofessional at the front desk, when they should be paying more attention to their customers. On the weekends there should be more staff to accommodate the guests at the front desk. My check in wait was so long that I had to go take a seat in the Lobby until she was finished. The house keeper did a poor job cleaning the room. My Husband found hair on the sink and the hair dryer in the bathroom. The bathroom floor wasn't the cleanest either and the bedding didn't smell fresh. The front desk after hours was non existent. I couldn't get anyone on the phone when someone should be working to answer the phone. These workers here just milk the clock! No vending machines either. Customer service is at an all time low here. The internet is spotty. I should have paid to go somewhere else with better service.

Clean room friendly and knowledgeable staff, hotel is a little hidden but at a great location at walking distance to all restaurants and shops

The room was dirty, there was no hot water Checking in was horrible, the receptionist at the front seemed miserable & was being rude, when we checked out we were told we were going to get refunded the $35 fee the hotel charges it’s been now 2 weeks & the money hasn’t been refunded it, i called my bank & they said there waiting on them to process the payment i called to speak to a manager 3X & no one ever got back to me i left numerous messages so unprofessional, do not recommend.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Price was great. Location is good. Located around all shopping malls and restaurants. Definitely recommend

Room was clean but had no hot water. Asked the front desk and they offered to move us to a different room but told us the problem would be fix the following day. Guess what? Not fixed the next day. They again offered to move us to a different room and again no hot water in that room either. The clerk told me that they have had issues with no hot water “For a while now” and she wasn’t sure when it would be fixed. If they knew that there was a problem, they should have notified us when checking in. We paid full price, no refund, and no offer to make it right.

My mom just passed suddenly so my family needed to come to town right away. We called for availability and they were able to accommodate us for 4 nights. Everything seemed to be going well until we arrived and found the place under construction which was never mentioned to us. As we checked in and got situated in the room we found out that the ac wasn't working right, the faucet in the bathroom was spitting out water at a hurricane pace and that we had no hot water for our showers. So we went to call the front desk and now the phones weren't working. We went back downstairs to tell the front desk and they said unfortunately the maintenance person was not in tonight and since they were booked up they could not change our room but that he would come back and check in the morning. They did give a discount to our room for no hot water though for just that night. Maintenance came and repaired everything but the hot water, he said the boiler was not putting enough heat but that he would adjust. So we left and came back that night after along day of getting things taken care of for my mom's funeral and BAM! NO HOT WATER! Again there was no maintenance so we took cold showers. We came downstairs and told the front desk lady (Ashley) about the issue and she just walked by us and yelled for another maintenance guy to see what was the problem. He came and said the same thing as the first maintenance guy did and that he really couldn't do anything to fix it. We called back to Ashley and she gave us an attitude as if we were bothering her. She said what do we want her to do that she can't do anything, then she complains to us that no else is complaining. As my wife was explaining what she would like, Ashley hung up on her. She called back 5 mns later and said she found 1 room available but as my wife was explaining we had a suite with 2 rooms since we had our grown children with us and she had the nerve to say I don't care I'm only giving you 1 room. We told her never mind and called the Holiday Inn customer care and explained everything to them, they said that someone would call us back and it never happened. We never did get hot water through our remaining days and Ashley made it a point to ignore us the rest of our stay. Hard enough I had to come here to bury my mom and now I have to deal with ignorance at Holiday Inn. I will never stay here again because of all the issues we had with the room and front desk (Ashley).

Amazing atmosphere, the girl at the front desk was very helpful and nice. The rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable.

Great! Super clean nice little pool to take a swim on super hot day. The breakfast is very nice. Would give 4 stars but staff was so nice and professional had to give 5. Hotel is going through renovation. 4 stars would of been need to renovate. So we understand. Walking distance from restaurants major plus.

Front desk was kind and helpful. The jacuzzi room was large and clean. TV broken and scratched. The neon Light outside the window was bright blue so had to use extra bedding to cover it up for sleep. We had a restful and safe night. Very quiet. Breakfast was better than I have seen at most hotels. Eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, coffee and much more. Didn’t use the pool. I would stay again if in the area.

The bed I slept in was horrible the room was nice and clean.check out the girl at the desk was nice too she explained to us that they was remodeling and they was getting all new everything so I guess that's why my bed was so horrible.

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude. She said her name was Nicole. She had glasses, tattoos and shorter hair. She was licking her fingers, was very short with us and threw the keys at the table before leaving without a word to the back.

Our room was filthy and outdated. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed. When we complained, she said "they are all like that. "

CAUTION. Stayed at this property in PSL on 5/22/22. Early AM on 5/23, front desk employee Cameron tried to enter our room #119 at 4am while we slept. No knock. No explanation from Cameron or Manager Trent to why he tried to enter. Cam said he “buzzed” our room prior to entering. Manager refunded half the room cost the next morning after we informed him of incident. Manager was not informed of incident by employee. Stay with caution.

This place is Really Great, rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, location is great. Within 5minutes Walking distance from stores, restaurants, movie theaters. Really Great location.

Rooms are very very very out dated. My husband and I usually love the Holiday Inn Express when we're traveling (which we do a lot of). This was a first time we were greatly disappointed and we frequent HE often for many years now. Even the shower road was full of rust, made us afraid to step into the tub to shower. The hotel smelled nice and room appeared cleaned but the oldness of it truly gave it an unclean felling. Staff was very pleasant.

This hotel was good. Rooms were very very clean. Location was great and easy to get to. Felt safe there too. Huge plus was the parking lot.its big. That was awesome as often times we cant find a parking spot as we mainly arrive late at night. Breakfast was not good but thats kinda hit and miss. The front staff was cold towards us but they did help us just werent friendly at all.

Nice place to stay overnight but recommend maybe looking for another hotel this one had no hot water and morning breakfast was free but not much to choose from
