Holiday Inn Miami Beach-Oceanfront, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is nice, clean, but the restaurant, although the food was good, had little variety, very limited in fact, there are not many places nearby to go for lunch or dinner and I think they are missing the opportunity to provide better service. Something that I didn't like is that they also charge you 150 USD for use of the beach whether you go or not and 100 USD more for a type of deposit in case you damage the room, which they return to you 3 or 4 days later, the 150 are no longer They return them, I don't know if all hotels charge that fee.
Parking is expensive, approx USD per day, so it is better to get around by Uber, they are cheap! From the airport to the hotel they charged me 24 usd.
The beach is not the most beautiful but it is fine.

Very comfy hotel and the beach is literally right next door. Delicious breakfast buffet with very friendly staff especially Oscar, Maria, Elvis and Claudia.

During my stay at the Holiday Inn
in Miami Beach on August 23, it was more than excellent. The rooms were clean and housekeeping service was excellent as well. Also, the buffet breakfast is affordable and I was amazed about the service specially the waiters which were Oscar, Trinidad and Kaira. They were very dedicated, paying attention to detail, very cordial and most important with an excellent attitude. I will be coming again to Miami but to the Holiday Inn in Miami Beach which is my second home now. I will never forget how I was treated with royalty during my stay at the holiday Inn. I also want to mentioned that Mikel which he works at the front desk reception area was very courteous and paid attention and rushed my requests on time.

In addition, Gerard which he works in the evening time at the restaurant at the holiday Inn, he was very courteous and explained my options well for any requests that I needed during dinner time.for dinner time and he is also an excellent. It is hard to find excellent service like this in a hotel. I was lucky to find excellent service.

I would say that this hotel and the amazing employees such as Oscar, Trinidad, Kaira, Gerard, Mikel and Gianmarco which is the guy that assists with the umbrella and the beach chairs are the best employees at the Holiday Inn in Miami. I would definitely come again to the Holiday Inn in Miami Beach since I travel to Miami during the months of June and August every year and I am hoping that I will see again these top notch employees that made the best of my stay during Aug. 23 through Sept 4. Again thank you Oscar, Kaira, Trinidad, Gerard, Mikel and Giani and hoping these people will get rewarded for the service and their devoted hard work that they do for this hotel.)

This hotel for two days yes, but never again for a long time no balcony you can't even air the windows closed breakfast always the same toast, ham, cheese, strawberry jam after 4 days you couldn't see it anymore. There is no other way to say the staff was friendly. Cleanliness after 10 days was finally dusted off in the room, no possibility to dry your wet things from the beach, so all in all this hotel was a total disaster.

I like the location excellent! The exit to the pool and the sea, but you have to pay for it, plus you don't have a garage at the hotel, you pay separately, in reality in Miami, everything is paid for

Very good location, but they did not comply with the included breakfast, the pool was out of service, the mattresses squeak…! Old facilities!

I come to the Holiday Inn Miami Beach Oceanfront every August for years. It's my mental health vacation at the end of summer before heading back to school. My friend and I are both high school teachers, and we literally take this time to do absolutely nothing but enjoy sun, sand, swim, and snooze. We could choose any of the hotels in Miami (we prefer mid-beach because it's quieter) but we come back here every single year! The rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is the best on the beach! Pool is right out the door and only 20 more steps to the most beautiful beach imaginable.
The staff Kaira, Maria, Yahaira, Daniel, and Hugo are as amazing as always year after year! The Holiday Inn Miami Beach Oceanfront has never let us down!

I was very satisfied with my stay at the beginning of August. I was well received. The room was spacious and clean.

The establishment corresponds perfectly to supply and demand.

Considering its location and pricing I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms.

The equipment and a possibility of pleasant lighting allowed me to be able to really rest.

The hotel is really great and well placed away from the noise of the road and the bars.

One last very positive point: all the staff are remarkably friendly.

Cleanliness level the ladies of rooms wanted to clean every day but once out of 2 was enough for me.

Negative point: when you come back from the beach or the swimming pool you have to pass in front of the reception which makes the floor dirty.

Good location. There is a gate separating the hotel from the sea. We were less than a week ago and the pool was not active so we had to go to the hotel next door. There is an employee named Miguel who works at the counter - gave a bad attitude. He claimed that our names were not listed on the order, he did not want to call the manager and when I insisted she saw on the computer that our names were indeed listed. He didn't apologize, laughed and sang in my face. In short, if there is another option it is better because the hotel's staff is nothing at all.

The hotel staff is courteous and helpful, and ready to help.
The issue of parking, for vehicles, is a bit problematic, and the parking service, which is offered at the hotel, is horribly expensive.

It is my third consecutive year of visiting this hotel, a good experience and especially the bar tender Jesús, a very friendly and attentive young Dominican. In general, everyone is very friendly, also the valet.

The location is perfect with easy beach access, the pool was nice, the restaurant and food were okay, that is as far as the nice part of this review goes.
The hotel staff was rude, not welcoming, not courteous, and made you feel like every question or request they were being burdened by, specially Daniel at the front desk, very impolite and extremely rude, he needs to understand that he is in the HOSPITALITY business.
The rooms are outdated, and smell, the tubs need to be replaced, housekeeping is almost non-existing.

This was the best part of my trip. The hotel was immaculate. The pool was clean, and right outside the gate was the beach. They gave you two beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. The customer service at the desk was helpful. We were able to check in early with a later checkout. The concierge Guston was so helpful. He knew everything. We were given different recommendations. The valet driver told us what areas to stay away from. I never felt so safe at a hotel. The cleaning staff did their job. The staff cleaning the lobby kept coming around in circles from cleaning the tables to the floors and vacuuming. One of the best was the bartenders. Jesus made amazing drinks. They had different personalities and played different music. Our room had a big deep tub you can soak in and Dove products like body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. The pool area had a bar, and music was playing. You were able to rent jet skis right on the beach. There was water with lemon and/or orange flavor daily. Coffee in the am was available daily. That is my new vacation spot. Thank you for making this 1st trip to Miami memorable. Yes, most workers didn't speak English as their primary language as some pointed out, but thats most of the area. But they always pointed in the direction of someone who could if they didn't understand.

We were 3, we received only 2 towels, 2 beach towels, 2 bottles of water.
When returning from an excursion, the door of our room was open (probably housekeeping), when we had closed it well, I reported to the reception, who told me that as long as nothing had disappeared, he did not take the statement into account.
The hotel is out of the way, we had to take an Uber every time we went out to the restaurant.

Extremely expensive. Valet parking was initially a little irritating for this hotel chain as it is not the same at other locations. But works perfectly!

The carpeting in the hotel should still be from the 90's, the rooms look very clean (with small blemishes).

Fresh towels occasionally have hair on them.

The room is cleaned every day, but sometimes people forget to put toilet paper or handkerchiefs. There is no balcony.

The hotel bar is open until 2300 (no guarantee).

Parking is NOT included in the hotel and must therefore be paid extra for each day.

Breakfast is included or not, depending on the booking.

Danger! We were charged twice for the hotel price! Look closely at what is charged!

The hotel was beautiful overall i had a good stay. The only things i did not like was none of the workers was able to speak English. The person that could the guy at the front desk was very rude & not welcoming just had a attitude that made me feel unwelcomed. Need more bilingual people. And get rid of the tall guy at front desk. Attitude is horrible & will make people not return!

Beautiful place, we love stayed there. There is a path behind the hotel where you can get the beach which is gorgeous.

I loved it, in front of the beach, close to ocean drive, excellent breakfast.

The room price that I booked and the actual cost is very different and almost doubled. The worst thing I happened was they took your money by different cause. Be careful for the bill after you eat it could be pay double amoun and the waiter said our machines makes the payment double
