I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Rutenberg. In only two visits my main looong lasting health concerns been either eliminated completely or diminished to almost none. The guidance and support along the way with texts and emails were extremely helpful. He takes time to explain you how your body works and how one process affects the other and is beyond helpful. I’m learning so much about myself every time I see him. The blood panels he reviews shows the map for your entire body and exceptionally helpful! I will be switching my whole family including my kids to him.

I am writing this review for my Holistic Specialist, Diego Rutenberg who has been my healthcare provider for the last three months.

Finally! A brief history of my health struggles. Growing up I’ve always battled illnesses and would often take antibiotics and steroids to battle whatever illness I had. When I was 18, I was diagnosed with cancer. When I turned 21, I was diagnosed with PCOS. When I was 25, I started to take my health seriously and started my journey to getting better. In 2015 I turned 27 and decided to stop relying on conventional doctors and start educating myself and becoming my own detective. He set me on a path with a new protocol. I made more progress but we both knew that I could feel much better and do much more. Yesterday I had my follow up consultation and we believe that we finally found the root cause of all my issues. INSULIN RESISTANCE! As a huge geek of functional medicine myself, I did not think I'd ever end up actually seeing a functional medicine practitioner myself if I ever came down with something, because I thought that through all my years of reading and listening to health and wellness oriented podcasts, I'd be able to figure things out myself. Well, just two months back I came down with Grave's disease, which is an autoimmune thyroid condition. If you know anything about thyroid, its that it is massively complicated and there are so many interdependencies and feedback loops and antibodies to test for, that it is quite unlikely you'd learn about all of these things in passing. So, I decided to book a consultation with my best friend's functional medicine doc that she constantly raved about.
