Hollywood Hot Glass reviews
19Our party of five had a great time. Susanna (sp?) doubled as our concierge.she was so knowledgable about great places to eat nearby. When I picked up our masterpieces today, a team member helped me carry them to the car. We are so proud of our creations! A wonderful experience all around!
Hollywood Hot Glass is a very cool place, nice location. I was there two nights ago as my family went as a Christmas present from my sister. The whole idea is very interesting. Wish they gave you a little more info before the “one person at a time” experience started. Takes awhile to get through. My main complaint is that Allison, who was our “artist” made comments to our group along the lines of… “You are burning me” / “I know you seem fearful of the heat and I may look 10 years old, but I have more than ten years of glass blowing experience” /“You are pinching my thumb” —- Ummmm so treat the novices with a little more respect. All I can say is that the instruction was so belittling. When the paddle for forming the bottom of the vase was not to her liking, she said, “Do you even know what parallel means? ” Wow. I rest my case. Just be kind to your customers is all I ask.
This studio was amazing. They went above and beyond and were extremely acomodating and kind. The class was informative, fun, and everything we could have dreamed of. We took the whole family and it was so phenomenal, this is great for all ages.
OMG this place is amazing! It's smack in the middle of the traffic circle, FYI. All of the people here are the nicest and friendliest. The artist who helped us with our projects, Jackie, was amazing. She explained everything and walked you through every step. She made it fun and actually made you feel like you participated. There were so many choices of what to make, choices on patterns, and great colors. The options were almost overwhelming. You do have to come back in ~12 hours to pick up your piece. I guess I didn't really think that part through. I would totally do this again and goggle won't let me give a high enough review but this was a 10 out of 5 for sure.
What a great experience! Allison was very knowledgeable and friendly. The memorial pieces I made with my Dad's ashes turned out great! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone. I will definitely be back next time I am in Florida. Thanks for everything!
Had a fantastic time with our instuctor Allison Bloom. She was extremely helpful and kept the process fun and safe. Lots of different options to choose from, so will hopefully go back again to keep creating!
This was a great experience! Price is extremely fair per person. It’s very hands on and engaging. Also love that it’s outside
Allison was great, making it an enjoyable experience. As a great instructor she made it seam like a second nature to us. Looming forward to see our works out of the kiln.
Fabulous experience. The instructor was knowledgeable, personable and made the experience memorable. Highly recommend!
My 2nd visit to Hollywood Hot Glass. Enjoyed the experience. Nice selection of projects to create. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
I’m honestly so disappointed. We booked a session for 2 and while on the way down, there was a bad traffic accident that completely stopped traffic. I called the place to notify them 40 minutes before our scheduled appointment time about the problem. We ended up being 10 minutes late and they said they couldn’t let us do the workshop or only one of us could go. They stated we would disrupt other people by starting 10 minutes late, which I would understand except we were literally the only people there. When we asked them who we would be disrupting they said other people who could be coming later. We went to the connected park and needless to say we didn’t see anyone else show up within the hour we hung out at the park so basically they just didn’t want to take us. It’s honestly a shame because we really looked forward to doing it and it was for a celebration and we even tried to rebook and they had nothing to offer us. At very least they did give us a refund but this to me is just bad business.
Everyone there was extremely helpful and kind, but i will point out that JACKIE WAS AMAZING! She was very patient, friendly and very informational. Next time I go I would love to work with her again, she’s so sweet.
Very nice experience! Great artist to show you how to create lovely pieces. We worked with Jackie and she was fantastic! Would definitely do it again.
Enjoyed it so much that I want to go back again. Our instructor was Allison and I highly recommend her. She’s informative and fun.
We had the best time, you can’t beat the idea for a date night.
Allison was a great teacher, really taking the time to explain the process and keep us engaged. Biggest shoutout to her. Judith was wonderful too!
So much fun! We made bubble bowls and loved how we got to turn the rod and blow the glass. It was a great experience for both of us!
My friend and I went to Hot Glass and we had such an amazing experience. We knew it would be good, but we had no idea it was going to be as fun and interesting as it was! Jackie was an awesome and she’s so talented! I highly recommend going with friends or as something to do on a date!
I cannot say enough good things about HHG. Allison was a great instructor! She was so knowledgeable and really made this experience memorable for us. We cannot wait to make another beautiful piece at HHG and bring our kids!
Been wanting to take my son and found a groupon for two. Jackie was a pleasure and walked us through the entire process patiently and carefully. We can't wait to pick up our items and see the end result now that it has cooled off.
