7I love coming to this church when I can. It's always so peaceful, and I get to sit there and enjoy the peace. It definitely helps my soul. It's always very clean and the people there are friendly as well.
For starters, if I could review this, as a zero star review I would. On July 16, I attended mass at Holy Name. I pride myself on being a young catholic in America, a population that is fading away fast. I firmly believe it is because of the mass style ran by Holy Name. The mass was so focused on the production, or show that we are losing the meaning of what it truly is to be in mass, honoring God. The lack of reverence and attempt to modernize our faith is exactly what is steering people away. I pray that Holy Name will correct this issue and get back to the reverence that our Lord deserves. Thank you, and God bless.
I love this church. My daughter lives close by and my husband and I go there whenever we are visiting her. Such a welcoming and beautiful church. From walking in the beautiful ponds, the stations walkway to the beautiful individual prayer chapels inside. The music at the 4pm Mass is lead by a woman who I could listen to all day. Beautiful experience. Thank you
Father Anthony organized the most extraordinary Holy Week that I have experienced. It is true that there are many people who collaborate with him, but thanks to his leadership everything turns out excellent. Thank you Father because this week I felt my heart filled with the Holy Spirit. Your homilies are very beautiful and every time I attend mass with you, I leave with a lot of peace and harmony.
We “discovered” this friendly, welcoming parish this winter during our annual snow bird stay in south Florida. The Saturday vigil is well-attended. The music is more modern Catholic than traditional but very pleasant and easy to listen to. What is unique is the landscaping with it’s pools, plantings and outdoor statuary. Well worth visiting even if you don’t plan to attend service.
