In 2019 we renovated a home in Neptune Beach. We hired Home Core for the renovation. They hired A and B Flooring to install LVP in the home. We noticed that the planks would move and had gaps appear in the joints. Being that it was a rental home we had to wait for the home to be unoccupied to address the problem. It has now gotten so bad that some of the planks have cracked and buckled. We thought it was a product issue and had Floor and Decor send a person to evaluate the product. In their report they state that there is nothing wrong with the product, but instead that the LVP was installed improperly. This was brought to the attention of A and B Flooring and they are refusing to replace the floors stating that it is outside of their one year workmanship warranty, and Home Core is also refusing to take ownership of the problem caused by a sub they hired. The best that they will offer is to “work with us” on getting the floors replaced, however they still have yet to give us a quote on the cost of replacing the floors. They stand by their statement that they will only cover the floors for one year after installation. I would not recommend using Home Core. They don’t stand behind the work that is done on their projects.
I will happily remove this negative review if Home Core steps up and does the right thing by taking responsibility for the poor subs they hired.
