Homestead Animal Hospital

This vet Is terrible with their pricing. Took a stray to get spayed and they charge $ 58 for a wellness check before they give a price on the procedure. Then they asked for 1200 between shots and procedure. The wellness check they basically make sure the pup is breathing that’s it. So basically they charge for nothing considering we could not spend 1200 on the rest of the services. They legally steal the money. Would not recommend them and they are part of the problem we have so many strays in Homestead.

1st time here and I was really happy with everything, all the staff was very welcoming and nice. The Dr was also very friendly. I think his name was Dr. Green. The only flaw or complaint was that I was there for several vaccinations, but they were out of 2 things my pup needed. Will have to return to complete.

I cannot overstate how incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful Homestead Animal Hospital was for me during a very stressful situation before our international move. Another vet in Homestead had neglected to share full details of what obtaining an international pet health certificate would require, and HAH stepped up, told me exactly what was required and squeezed us in for an appointment so I could fly my cats overseas with the rest of my family. Every member of staff that I interacted with was so kind and friendly even though they were short staffed and running behind the day that we were in the office. They took the time to answer my questions fully and never seemed rushed. I will be forever grateful to them for helping me get my beloved cats to Italy with me ️

5 stars 110%! Chewie has been a part of Homestead Animal Hospital since he was a puppy. The doctors are phenomenal and the staff is amazing. Anyone new to the Homestead area that is looking for a great Veterinarian office look no further. Thank you for taking such great care of our Chewie!

The attention of the staff was amazing. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The waiting rooms, however, could use a little cleaning between appointments. Raj had an awesome experience.

HAH has been great since I first started with them. Dr Greene is very nice, front staff is as well, however I did want to specify that Cristin has gone above and beyond to help me and my cat Milo out and I really am so thankful. I recommend them all 100%.

Ismael was really nice and Dr Rodriguez as well. Let see the treatment for my Bebita. In a few weeks I will tell the results with all the treatment.

The quality of care for my pets at Homestead Animal hospital has been so far the best, doctors are very knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly and kind to our pets and us as pet parents. Don’t know what I’d do without them.

Ive been here multiple times for my cats. The staff/vets are very helpful and knowledgeable, and the wait isn't unreasonable

I wouldn’t trust any of my five pets with anyone else! The front desk staff are the best. They are professional, accommodating, and caring. Dr. Greene is the most caring veterinarian I’ve ever met! He listens and takes his time with your pet. Love him!

The people there are awesome. Not only do they really care about your animal, they know a great deal about what they're doing. There's nothing negative to report. The place is as good as it can possibly be and I don't think there's anyone that could possibly top their performance

Customer service has been top notch since we moved here, all the vets, techs, and front desk staff are always very nice and loving with my pup, especially Vivi and Dr. Toledo.

The one complaint I have is the long wait times, even with appointments, and the few times I've brought my dog for nail grinding, they always complain that he doesn't allow them and the nails are still long (I've opted for Petco for nail grind and they have never complained and always do a good job. I watch every time and not once has he tried to bite or anything, he always let them grind his nails). Honestly, it's minor things to me so that's why it does not affect the star review for me, I really care about the care he receives when he's sick and that care is always top notch.

Everyone in the office from front desk to the Doctor were very professional and caring towards me and my dog, Tater. They found time to see Tater without an appointment because of my concern over my dog being lethargic and not eating. Fortunately all lab work came back good and Tater is feeling much better!

I’ve been taking my pets to this vet for over 20 years and since the pandemic hit things have changed for the worse. Today I called because my dog is sick (vomiting and coughing) I was told I can only walk in between 2: 30-3: 00, I advised that I could not come at that time because he is over 100 lbs and I’m 58 and cannot put him in the car. Can I come at 4: 00? If I pay $500 deposit? These people have lost their minds. What happened to personal attention? Compassion for animals and people? SMH it’s all about $$$$. Taking my business elsewhere. Shame on you Dr. Greene for allowing this.

I have taken my yorkie there for the last 3 years. I had no issues until she got sick today. I tried to take her in and the girl on the phone tried to push me to take her on Monday. So, I told her what if she dies? She didn’t seem to care. She suggested finding another place. After me pushing for her to accept me walking in, she said by the way if you do come the fee went up. It would be $90 dollars just to see her. So to make an appointment is just $25 but I guess they try to take advantage of people who are desperate. There are many other places here in homestead. Stay away from this place if you care about your pet, because they surely don’t care.

Called Homestead Animal Hospital after another local vet refused to see my cat during their walk in hours. HAH was busy, but told us to come in right away. Had blood work and x-rays done and prices were reasonable. Fortunately for our cat, they were unnecessary, but they were exactly what should have been done based on my concerns. We will continue going here for any animal care we need.
