Homestead Community Spay/Neuter Clinic reviews
18Tried the service for the first time with my cat. It was quick and easy. What I found difficult was getting the online appointment for the Neuter services.
Prices are good and only for miami dade residents. Be prepared with documents required. Wait could be up to 4 hours or less. Good service.
Made an appointment for 8 am only to arrive and have employees tell me appointments don’t matter. Been waiting 2 hours just to get my dog in this garbage place.
Took my dog to be spayed. Because of the dog's weight they advised to bring her in before opening which I did. Organized by car where you remained with pet. The lady at the desk inside was very helpful and polite. She called me as soon as my pet was ready for pick up. Game detailed instructions on how to care for the next 10 days. Very Happy with the Service.
I love bringing my babies here. They take such good care of our animals. I am so grateful that we have these services for our pets. Everyone there is so nice. Amy, she greets you outside, is just awesome! Thank you thank you thank you.
Great little place. The friendly and helpful staff made the whole process smooth. My puppy’s spayed was perfect. Thankful!
Amazing place! Super helpful and the spay went wonderfully with my kitty!
The attendant who meets you in the parking lot is a very very sweet and helpful lady!
If you have any concerns with anything they have no issues helping you out or answering your questions.don't mind the floors inside, they assured me they're getting them fixed soon, they are just a little messed up due to a washing machine spilling out on them. But their services are super professional, clean, affordable and very quick! I went on a Friday at 8am and had my kitty back by 12!
Just so others are aware, they are usually open before 8: 30 although I'm not too sure when they are open. Each time I went it was around 8am, so make sure you call to get accurate hours!
Definitely bringing back any kitties I have in the future and recommending this place to my friends:)
3 months trying to get an appointment. Arrived early on the day of my appointment and there was no vet available to perform surgeries. Many people disappointed sitting on their cars with their pets waiting for the vet to show up. Places like these should have a plan B and C whenever an employee calls out sick.
I've took several community cats here (as well as my own) since they first opened. Lines can fill quickly in the morning & they have friendly staff. Make sure to have CASH (I'm not sure if now they accept another payment method).
I love that for the community cats it's FREE. So I can take as many as I can as long as I'm able to catch them and they're not feral. I recommend anyone with a colony of cats in their area to PLEASE do the same if they can.
Nice people, willing to stop and talk if you have questions about your pets procedure. They don't rush or brush you off.
Made an appointment a month ago and drove an hour to it after receiving 4 reminders of my appt and place was closed. People inside and would not open the door to tell us anything. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional!
Excellent! Staff was friendly and caring. Had a cat spade in the morning and later at night, she was back to normal.good job!
They are very courteous, and kind. Spay and Neuter is free. Appointments recommended for house animals. Strays and ferrell's bring them in 7 to 8 am.for ease of handling. Tuesday through saturday.
The staff is extremely friendly, supportive, and informative. I felt very safe and was guided through the check in process.
Quick and easy. Even with covid they have been able to place a good plan for the people and the dogs.
So far I have taken 2 dogs to get sprayed/neutered. They both made a speedy recovery without complications. The staff was nice and explained everything that was necessary for the after care.
Brought in a cat to get fixed. Was returned in the original cat carrier smelling like a mix of wet dog, feces, and vomit. Employees probably put a dog in my carrier and, to top of the fantastic smell, he came back with fleas. Forget about saving money because now it has to be spent on flea medication. Photo is fleas next to the carrier.
Fairly good experience. Even if you have an appointment and show up early, you'll want to be sure you try lining up early in order to get a ticket as they DO call by number. Also make sure to have your Miami-Dade ID as well. Staff was courteous and relatively patient and prices were generous. Wait can be a bit much, and you're outdoors while you wait so plan for the elements (bugs, rain, heat).
