It was so hot in room at night with 68 degrees going.
Also no towels left or pool towel when asked front desk in the evening?
Also side door key slide doesn’t work.

This was a horrible experience. I am a Hilton Diamond member. I had 2 rooms. The rooms are old and run down. We came in the evening for a function. Asked for towels and washcloths and was told there were none to give by front desk. We had someone handicapped with is. The room was by a outside door that did not work. So we had to drive around to another door to get in then drive to park the car. Horrible. This is a big property. Not worthy of Hilton standards. The room needed cleaning as well. Wasted 400. Hilton properties are pristine. This one was not. Stay somewhere else.don't waste your money.

UPDATE. They did reach out to me to make it right and gave Hilton Honors Points. Thanks so much.

Was spectacular amazing beautiful clean. Very friendly staff. The view was wonderful. Wanted to stay an extra day. One of the most clean and well kept places on florida. You won't be disappointed.

Mold In vents, moist bed and furniture, broken furniture, no wash clothes, dishes in the dish washer not put away, elevator broken, out side doors did not work with key card, fitness center had no towels

The employee at the desk in the evening was incredible but seems like his hands were tied due to lack of training. The hotel itself is far from luxury by any means and very dated. The ac unit fan would turn on and off at random despite being in the fan on setting. The ceiling fan was turning on and off at random (fan and light) more than likely due to the remote from someone else's room. The dark cabinets in the kitchenette we're damaged/missing underneath the sink just exposing a garbage disposal and wires under the cooktop, no linens or pillows for the sofa bed which appears to not have been cleaned in a LONG while. Was given a key and room assignment to a room that was already occupied and had people in it (found that out the hard way). The parking lot had multiple inoperable streetlights and it's pitch black. Really didn't feel safe walking around at night especially with so many people just sitting around the outside of the building and in their cars.
At the end of the day it's cheap so don't expect anything of "Hilton" quality except for their name on the building. Their only saving grace is the customer service from the guy at the front desk.

My boyfriend and I had to stay there because we could not stay home temporarily. This was not our first stay, we’ve been here before and loved it. We stayed here for 3 days. After our stay they charged me a smoking fee. It was insane because I’d left the room a whole 20 hours before our actual checkout date and there wasn’t any smoke in the room like THEY told us. Now I’m a smoker and I’ve been in hotels plenty of times to know they’re all pretty much non smoking. You will pay a fee if you smoke in the room so I smoke in my car with no problem. I even have photos of me smoking in my car during the very same stay! I explained to them that if i smoke in my car then of course I’m going to smell like it, and if I’m in the room then so will the room. But if you can’t find ashes to say that I smoked in the room, why would they put them there? I’d ash in the trash, in the sink IF I had to, like they would have seen them and not those ash crumbs! I reached out to them AND their corporate office to have the fee refunded due to no smoking occurring in the room. Neither were helpful. These people put ashes in our room after we left and NO ONE believes us. Like literally on their “photos” the ashes aren’t even in one place, they’re inconsistently scattered and there’s not even enough to say it was from smoking. A measly remnant of a cannabis bud that could’ve easily came off of my clothes smh these people are crooks! Nice rooms but crooks. This was during COVID-19 too! I’d only seen 3 other guests the whole time I was there so for them “having to close out the room for 3 days” for who? Lol They’d even sold my bf alcohol after hours without checking his ID (win). So IF YOU'RE A SMOKER I’d advise you take photos of your room before you leave. I will never stay here again! Oh and Hilton please don’t reply with that “we apologize crap”, no one likes crooks that smile in your face.:

I absolutely did not enjoy my stay. My vacation was ruined. On our first night we found a roach. It was a nightmare dealing with this hotel. I've stayed at plenty of Hilton's and never once received this kind of treatment with lack of apologies from senior management let alone any acknowledgement of any kind. I was the one doing all the communicating and was extremely patient. Then for literally no reason we were escorted out by police. We did not yell or fight but we're yelled at and your staff was confrontational. This was the worse form of customer service I have ever experienced with multiple opportunities to get it right your hotel failed to do so and in the end gave very little compensation. The embarrassment alone of being escorted out for basically asking questions is in itself ridiculous.
Your GM should have called me, the assistant manager should have come up to my hotel room as he said he would he also should not have accused me of lying or implied it by saying he had to check the carpets were the same. Your maintenance man should have identified himself as such since he was wearing jeans and had a better manner. When asked are you maintenance he pointed to his shirt and was super rude when my husband asked questions. The assistant manager then called the room in a very personal attack mood.
At each and every turn this hotel took our original complaint personal and not professional. All but Karen and Alfredo seemed helpful. Even though Alfredo did in his email imply that you hotel was never told about the issue til he was made aware by me which is not possible since Hilton honors had given both assistant and GM names to me and promised a call on Monday that never came, Alfredo at least was still very professional in his email and seemed sincere in his concern as did Karen.
I will not recommend your hotel nor will we stay at any of these hotels locations anywhere.
I have yet to hear for senior management on any of this and that says alot.
They did not offer me anything management Alex or Alek left a note at front desk saying he's giving us 20,000 points as you know if you are a Hilton's honors person is like nothing when our stay was 150,000 point plus $500 which is around $1200 so he gave us like what 8% off it's crazy and their was no discussion it was just this is what I think your trouble is worth this in a note. How professional? Chuck the GM never took a call or made one to us. Neither did Alex I was the one that engaged every call or email. No one reached out ever. Til of course the day before our last day when Alex called yelling and then the cops came to escort my husband and I out. This experience has turned us off to Homewood Hotels everywhere.

Stayed here for 5 days. Hotel was full and rooms were quiet and clean. Only complaint was…. Strange smell in our room when air conditioner was running.

The place is great, but Michael at the front desk was amazing. Such a courteous and helpful young man. He really went above and beyond in assisting us.

Then in breakfast in the morning, most places just throw some food out and leave guest to fend for themselves. You Lady that was attending to the area was very attentive and kind, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to get her name.

Avoid this place at any cost, thieves broken into about 10 cars last night, surprisingly there are no cameras and guess what that’s not the first time robbery happened there, my sunglasses, GPS, money, car ownership papers were stolen. The management said it’s under guest risk but what about the safety and security of the guests belongings. Thieves knew that, there were no cameras. My vacation has been ruined.

I love staying with Hilton! This location was quiet, clean and close to the St. Pete airport. I was able to swim and relax before my flight which they provided a shuttle service for me. It made my traveling less stressful and my vacation more enjoyable.

Stayed almost 3 weeks here in the 1 bedroom suite. Room is so so, needs a big update in my opionion. For goodness sakes the TVs need updating to something that allows you to get on netflix or even a screen cast would have been nice.

The staff here are very good. Especially Michael, he helped us just about every night with extra towels/blankets etc. Dude never complained and always tried to go the extra step to make sure we were taken care of.
Breakfast was so so as well. However the ladies that made the breakfast worked very hard to make sure everyone was well taken care of. I could tell they took pride in their work. If they just had some better quality ingredients to work with I bet the breakfast would be 5 star!
My biggest disappointment for this hotel is that there was no evening social. On their recording when you call the hotel it states "our breakfast and evening social is waiting for you! " Well there wasn't an evening social when I got there. If it wasn't for the friendly staff this would have been a 3 star review but Michael saved the day.

I will make this short and sweet. Stay away. We git to the hotel 1 evening and found 4-5 roaches in the sink! The toilet kept making a loud noise.
The mattress has a huge stain. Just gross!

Ok property. Rooms could use an upgrade. Hotel needs to do a better job of catering to all guest. They offered no non-pork meat item. More hotels need to realize everyone doesn't eat pork.

This hotel is our favorite when we have family business in the St Petersburg area. The rooms have kitchenettes and feel very cozy and welcoming. The staff here have always been helpful. The breakfast isn't bad either. We will be staying there again.

First let me say, I never like the front desk people when I stay at hotels. But Michael, hands down is absolutely the best. He is a very kind. Very helpful. Brenda, my cleaning lady was again amazing! She went to the other end of the hall to get me 2 towels but brought me back the whole set up for towels wash clothes, etc. She was in the middle of her work and stopped what she was doing. She is also very kind and really seems to love working here. This place better take care of their staff because you can’t find employees like them. The breakfast was not all that great but since Covid, it’s just like that now. Also, our room was clean. And I look everywhere. I had a cleaning business so you know. But our room was clean. The bed was amazing! My boyfriend and I are getting ready to go use the grill area to cook tonight, so I am very excited about that. The pool area is pretty cool. Quiet place. Long long long hallways. But overall I’ll definitely be back!

This was the most horrible stay as a diamond member. Upon checking in at the front desk, we were greeted by an obnoxious smell like garbage from the carpet in the hallway. Once we got to the room, we were welcomed by a roach in the kitchen. The pullout sofa and chair in the dining area was filthy and disgusting. There was a soil on the mattress. We arrived just before midnight, hence we remained overnight. Upon checking out prematurely, I asked for the general manager who was “on a conference call” and was too busy to speak with me. This speaks volumes about his professionalism. Obviously, informing the front desk agent that we will be rewarded with points, was sufficient in addressing our concerns. Noteworthy, we have yet to receive said points. Please take your business to the Marriott a few blocks away if you want to sleep in a clean room.
One star for both front desk agents who were professional.
