Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Nearest to Univ Studios

Clean, quiet, and comfortable! We slept great! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And the pool / firepit area is a great place to unwind. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Greeted by 4 cockroaches of various sizes when we got to our first room. As well as a strong bug spray spell that gave my husband an asthma attack. We were kindly moved to another room that had less of the bug spray smell and no roaches visible. I get needing to treat a room for bugs but these toxic sprays cause harm to people. Maybe don't put people in that room.

Stayed here for a few days in early December 2022 and had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly, they offered a really good free breakfast in the morning, and it’s within walking distance from restaurants, stores and universal! The room itself was a little outdated, but nicely sized and clean.

There is a serious ant and roach infestation! I booked this for my family’s vacation to Universal and after an evening check in we entered the room to a wet carpet (it soaked socks). I disinfected the room to make it work. I got up to use the bathroom 3 am and flicked on the light to roaches! Roaches on the bedroom door and wall, even on the bathroom floor. I was disgusted. Went immediately downstairs to the lobby to be told they were fully booked and could only offer an accessible room. Unacceptable. After thinking about it roaches in one room means roaches in more rooms so we checked out day 1 from a 4 night stay. We found ants on the bathroom light switches. The manager at check out offered Hilton points and I said no I want a refund. Apparently after reading other reviews we weren’t the first ones and there is a bad infestation. Gross. I even had to fight to get my money back even after submitting photos and videos of proof…they REALLY need to handle this ASAP

This was the best hotel stay ever since Covid began. Hotel and rooms were very clean. The staff was very welcoming and ready to help. If the breakfast choices were upgraded a bit, it would be a win all around. It's free so I'm not dinging them for that. I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great experience!

The service was wonderful. Everyone was very nice. But, the rooms need major updating. Bathroom looked like incomplete construction. Toilet runs for a long time. Shower/tub leaks and makes noise all day. Carpet is not that clean and the bed had a bed skirt for a comforter. Weird. But for the price, we really didn't want to complain. Also we were out and about a lot so it didn't matter much. The lobby and pool areas are great- clean and nice. Location is great and the space of the suite is great.

Stayed her for a week o a family trip. The rooms are a great size for a family. The hotel was clean and in a good area surrounded by restaurants. Anything they don’t sell in their market you can go across the street to the 24 hour Walgreens.

The only problem I had with the room was that 1 of the stove tops did not work.

Had a wonderful vacation with the family. With good food and a wonderful staff to make our experience one we enjoyed very much.

Suites are good, breakfast healthy options run out early and are not replenished, hot food is only luke warm, pool area nice. Early check-in (before 3pm) seems verboten. Not many restaurants in walking distance. If they were serious about sustainability they would install solar panels on the roof. Evening social is currently only on Wednesdays.

When we got to the hotel I wanted to pay for my reservation in cash but the hotel didn't take cash. Then they wanted to scan my card for the second night, which I showed them that my bank had a hold for that night and so my debit card was declined, again they said no to cash. I then put the entire stay in my credit card and was told they would release the money in my bank account, that was Monday morning and still nothing. The room was ok but really needed repairs. There bi-fold closet door fell off the track and almost hit my grandson in the head. There was no creamer for the in room coffee but apparently the guest before me dumped some in the tray and it wasn't cleaned. Breakfast is ok but nothing great. We're had to microwave or food every morning because it was cold. It was good for being close to what we needed and I did feel safe.

There is some property aging, for instance, the shower curtain rod sagged so that the curtain would not stay closed on either side! But very comfortable. Kitchenette neat to have. Well laid out suites. Clean and comfortable. Quiet, safe. Really very close to Universal. Thought it was a competitive price, too. Yes, I would stay again.

Enjoy my time here. So clean and well maintained. Breakfast is so good they got a vast variety of stuff you choose from. Awesome staff too, Dahmar Very calm and attentive! Will come back again

Been traveling all summer. This was my best stay thus far. My preferred location to book a reservation now is Homewood Suites.

Candace was amazing, so helpful so welcoming really a great first impression and great face for doubletree I work for doubletree at another location and wish our front desk staff was as amazing as her. My room is amazing, price was great. Extremely happy with my choice of coming here will definitely be back! A must recommend if your coming to Orlando and want a good hotel with a great and helpful staff.

Friendly and accommodating staff, room size and amenities were great (very clean), loved our warm breakfast.made use of their shuttle to universal theme parks which saved us those parking fees for the 2 days that we were at the theme parks.perfect check in and check out time unlike other hotels where their checkout time was too early.we will definitely be using this hotel again since we purchased an annual pass for both universal studios and islands of adventure.thank you

Good hotel next to Universal Orlando parks. 1bdr with two queens and sofa bed was very spacious. Room was dated but clean. Breakfast was decent but typical hotel buffet with cereal, eggs, etc. Shuttle is helpful for Universal parks but one need reservation (could be done same day) and departure time is ok but last return is way too early at 8pm. Parks close at 9pm or 10pm depending on park so leaving park at 8pm to catch the bus absolutely did not make sense. So uber is the solution and cost is about $15-20 to hotel. Parking is free so this is a plus. Overall not bad hotel with good value.
