Hook'D Charters, Destin FL

Can’t say enough about Capt George and Hook’d charters. If is anyone is looking for a great bay trip, this is your captain and company. Been fishing with this gentleman since October and honestly is the man. 5 stars

Hook’d was amazing! The First Lady we talked to was great she called us right back! We booked through another company and got cancelled two days in a row because of weather…my husband and 9 year old were bummed! But she was able to see what options were available with the circumstances! George was able to get them in at the Bay Area! They had the best time and caught tons of fish! Don’t shop around just book with Hook’d!

We did an inshore trip with Capt. George, The weather was not good as the trip was delayed an hour due to thunder storms. We were only on the water 2 hours due to more thunder storms. However Capt. George put us on fish quickly and we caught several nice mangrove snapper and a nice 24" Red drum. Not the ideal weather day but we still had a good time. Thanks Capt. George!

Hook’d Charters is a top notch group to work with if you want to have fun, catch fish, and learn more about the sport. Britany, Edie, and staff go above and beyond to ensure success and enjoyment. I have booked several guided trips with various charters in years past but will only fish with Hook’d going forward. Just completed our second trip with Hook’d and cannot wait for the next.

Hook’d Charters is the absolute best charter we’ve ever experienced! George is not only exceptionally smart, he’s an extremely nice guy! He taught us about the types of fish, as well as their behavior and their habitat. He even helped our brother in law, who’s blind, land a couple of bluefish! George also professionally filleted our fish so we could cook it later. The boat was also amazing and perfect for our large group and we caught so many great fish!

We’ll definitely be back next time to make more fishing memories!

I would recommend Hook’D Charters to anyone looking to catch some fish and make memories! Unlike some other charters I’ve been on, Hook’D charters genuinely want their customers to catch the fish, as much as the customer does. They make sure they keep a manageable amount of lines in the water that they can for the duration of the trip. They will “hunt” the fish down to make their greatest attempt to allow their customers to catch fish. They strive to make sure their customers not only get the most out of their fishing trip, but their visit to Destin in general. All the captains and staff are very friendly, personable, honest, professional, knowledgeable, and kid friendly. If you are visiting the Destin Fl area, and are looking to experience a fishing charter, you won’t regret booking with Hook’D Charters.

Been on half a dozen charters, Hook'D was hands down the best. It wasn't over crowded like many of the charters. My lines stayed clear and catching fish sell day!

Crew was awesome! Britt, Corey and captain Mickey made the trip memorable! We were singing songs and enjoying life while they took us from one prime spot to the next!

Ive fished with Britney and HookD charters a few times and it always turned out to be a great fishing day!

I booked a trip with hook’s and absolutely had a blast. We caught fish all day they put you on them and you reel them in. That’s it, worth every dollar. If you are looking for a great time book with them. No gimmicks, no nonsense, Cpt Mickey, Brit and the entire crew was awesome! Definitely ready for next summer!

We are repeat customers with Hook’d and we are huge fans. Our captain George was so knowledgeable and super helpful. And so very patient with all of my many questions! He made sure we were right on the fish and while you can’t ever promise that you’ll catch something, he kept us moving if it was slow in an area. We are already trying to book a trip back to Destin just to fish with George!

While I usually don't leave reviews, I think it is important to let other fisherman know of my experienced before they spend their hard earned money with this charter.

Brittany took my friends and I fishing on 10/22/22. Six of us to be exact. We paid for a 10hour trip at $3k plus $600 for tip, so $3600 total. On their website, they said we would be targeting Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi, Golden Tile, Swordfish. We only came home with 1 keeper size amico jack, handful of small red ruby, and handsize mingoes. We didn't catch any of the fish they mentioned on the website, nor did we catch or see any trigger fish, red snapper, cobia, or any other grouper (Caught one undersize scamp grouper). Her crew did catch a shark. I'm a avid fisherman and been on many charters. While I understand fish might not bite everytime, but when your paying premium dollar you except to see nonstop action and quality fish to take home. Usually on these charters we are running from away Triggerfish, but we didn't even get that type of action. This experienced has me second guessing on ever spending that much money on a charter like this ever again. I would never book with Hook'D again. I've been on 2 different charters in Destin (6hr each) and we limited each time on red snapper and caught multiple premium fish species. This trip was a fail of a lifetime.

This was our 1st salt water fishing trip, we went out with Gorge and had a great time. He made the trip enjoyable and fun. I believe my 2 boys had as much fun catching bait as they did catching the big fish. I highly recommend hookd charters if you are wanting a great day of fishing. Gorge made sure everybody caught a fish.
