Hope Lutheran Church - Lake Weir Campus, Summerfield FL

This is a campus of a larger church. Very welcoming and Christ centered. It seemed to be an older congregation. I don't know if that's because of the area it's in or because the worship style is very traditional, but my mom enjoys it.

This is a nice place to go to help you through a very hard place.
They have a great staff. They provide a little bit of Hope in the way of essential's.
There is paperwork and a line of course to wait in. But for those who need a hand you are used to waiting.
Don't expect money, or clothing, you can expect canned food and the occasional bread loaf, or fresh garden varieties someone donates. And if you are in great need of sanitary supplies for a loved one, or cleaning supplies they can be asked for.
This Church program runs within it other programs for the community that surrounds it. Such as getting ready for school. They take the kids shoe size and help with that process. As well as summer bible school.
I've found a great number of smiles here.
And no judgement.

Very warm and welcoming. I am looking forward to attending the Easter Sunrise Service at their beautiful site on the shore of the lake.

Delivery is so easy an the people are super nice when your there to help n donate

I adore this church! Everyone makes you feel welcome. I bring my 4 year old grandson to church with me and he is so welcome by everyone, They have a childrens book library, a child can pick a book to read or just look at during the service and take home to keep! They also have coffee and a light brunch after service. Welcome all!
