Hope Place, Daytona Beach FL

At first they were nice and had a place for me. However it turned out that even when. I road her of my financial situation, she offered solutions but apparently she took it like a lie? ! She was extremely rude whev she actually called me by mistake at my worst time of hopelessness! No real working of a program!

Trying to obtain emergency shelter for someone in need, I was deliberately ignored by KENYA at the front desk. I had to call from a different phone number in order to get an answer. Once she finally decided she was in the mood to do her JOB, she was continuously rude & impatient. For this to be the first point of contact for your program, it is unacceptable. If it weren't an absolute emergency, I would leave it alone altogether. Do better.

I am extremely grateful for Hope Place. I cannot thank Kenya and Tamara who are both Residential Advisors for their dedication and commitment they show to all of the clients they are extremely for the clients and provide them the best services available. Thank you to Donna and Buck the directors who genuinely care about the success for all clients and Sabrina and Taneisha case managers who provide the best quality case management you could ask for. Overall Hope Place will make sure that you get back on your feet and become successfull.

Mrs keenya is very nice and respectful. She tries with everything in her to help everybody she can. All staff member are great and does very well but keenya goes beyond what she’s supposed to and I’m glad she was here to help me

I want to start by saying that I have had a Rough and challenging year but hope place has came to my rescue and the ladies in their are OUTSTANDING. I will start with MS KENYA, MS. BERNETTE, MS. TAMARA, MS AKIA, MS. JOANNE AND MS DONNA. They have went beyond mile stones for my family and I COULDNT ASK FOR A BETTER STAFF! TONIGHT MS KEYA HAS BEEN FANTANSTIC TAKING CARE OF all of US TO BE ONE PERSON she has what it takes because it takes a lot to do this type of work ITS ALWAYS HIGH VIBRATIONS making those that are going through unfor seen circumstances easy to deal with. THANK YOU

Family oriented highly recommend to the community when wanting help this shelter stands out from any other shelter because it offers opportunities to stay United instead of divided into the system

The website clearly says street people how sad is that. The owner claims not but that is on the bottom.of the first page.

In the process of Getting into here Hurd so much good things about this place I hope My son and I get excepted we could really use the help

Rooms are small and there is a wait to get in (at the time we applied it took us a little over a month but wait varies they are NOT an emergency shelter) but its 3 meals a day and a chance to get back on your feet financially and look for a safe place to live. The staff is all extremely friendly and helpful!

A wonderful place, doing God's work. Helping those that have fallen into misfortune, and just need some help!

Very clean and new playground. The people that work at hope place came out and spoke to my family, they are so nice! No garbage on the ground, no dog poo, public library right there.

There website references homeless individuals as “street people”. How can you even look at yourselves in the mirror and say your a “Godly Ministry”.

Nice.we only stay there for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful.athe staff were fun and lovong people, a bit strick sometimes, but I like that they keep discipline within premises. Other wise, people can trash the place and become it a farm. The only thing, was the bathrooms that some residents, not the staff, fail to keep clean sometimes.

Don't GO TO THE HOPE PLACE! My sister just got kicked out with her brand new baby the place is so NASTY they serve expired food too people got sick from it. A lady name Sadra treats people so bad because of own past that doesn't have anything to do with other people. How she gone have a job to help people? But her goal is to make people miserable like her.wish i could give it zero stars.

The hope place has left my family hanging multiple times. I called many times with no response back. I have a family of 7 and really need help! I have been in Volusia county for 27years and can't understand why my family is abandoned to the streets with no help, when I've been on their waiting list since June 2020! It makes me think that they just pick and choose who they want to help. This is unfair. I have 5kids in 4different schools and no stability. I realize the HOPE center is not really what they claim to be sadly.

The resources that they give to the community. Jesus is the Hope Of Glory. Keep up the good work Hope Place.
