Terrible service They had me waiting all day for a furniture delivery no communication whatsoever wasted my whole day didn't go to work And when I called the mayor said he has no idea dear it's terrible way to run business yes the owner should have a better commitment to the customer

First time shopping at this business. Store was packed with many items, but was relatively clean. Employees were kind and helpful. I do think the prices of their larger items were great, but a lot of the small items in the store were a bit overpriced for second hand items. They would sell more of their smaller items if they cut some of those prices in half. I was thinking of donating some things, but the reviews from previous donors are very negative.

Prices are way too high for a thrift store. They take $3 off market value if that. And they are not a Christian store they just use it as a tax evasion

I went there and I paid for furniture I spent almost $400 I was supposed to deliver it the next day Outside the house people thought was trash and they picked it up and I lost all the money do you have the Is worst communicatio The worst service ever I don't recommend buying anything from there

Hi on January 31st I went in for it was pretty easy I bought my mini frige but I did call in in advance so I don’t waste my time

Rude grumpy old man, tells me rudely he didn't need to hear my conversation. I wasn't checking out but in line. I wasn't vulgar just discussing a recent board game purchase. I was excited about. I guess your cashier can't handle conversations about the game Clue and its many editions. He was very rude and I won't be back to this location. 5/1/21 at around 2: 10pm.

I live at a senior park in Davenport and we have a garage sale every year and I donate nice stuff to your Hope store right down the street. I always take at least 3 car loads of stuff and this year I called asking for a pick up. On Sunday I met two young men who came in a big truck. They walked around my big pile and did see a mattress that had a small tear on the side I missed seeing from the person who donated it. I agreed for them not to take it. They walked around the boxed and bagged pile and said they would not take it. I had working heaters, blankets, dishes, slow cooker, mixer, chair in great shape, black leather chair with know holes worn out, clothes boxed and folded with out stain. On the outer ege i had vacumes and they grabbed two and left. Need to get better pick up men. I choose a better charity who apprieates it. Bernice Di Lillo

The past few times I've noticed they've overcharged me. It supposed to be 15, they charge me 20,7 turns into 11. I'm not too mad because everything is so cheap to begin with but there's definitely an employee that's overcharging and not going by the tags on the items and because if it I go to other places instead going out of my way to visit.

Don't do delivery. You pay a 25 dollar fee and then they drop off the furniture like this. Literally with only 2 legs on, faced down like this and then left the other 2 legs next to it.this is supposed to be a table. Im not no bob the builder

Great varied selection you can get lost forever in but the rating is mostly for the staff. Everyone is incredibly kind and don't seem to have any issue going out of their way to make things right for you, from the staff in-store to the delivery drivers who surprised me with their willingness to help with moving furniture around. I've spent way more that I ever intended to walking in here, and as a procurement manager I was even able to find items for our business, which speaks to the items you can find. I really appreciate having you guys here and having a more community friendly alternative to Goodwill.

Picked up part of a matching set, and left the rest behind my car in the rain. To ruin, thank God we seen it quick. Tried call them back and the guys hung up on us, tried to call the store and no one will answer now. Bad experience, would not recommend them for any anything and the prices in the store is high for donated stuff.

Though we would prefer to donate to places that we know are good causes, Hope Thrift will send a truck to collect your donated items, and it's fun to shop there, although it's cluttered, with tight rows. They do say that they support various charities, but evidence is scarce.

This place was great. They had all kind of unique items, housewares, new goods, some clothing, DVDs, etc. I had a little bit of trouble communicating with the cashier with the language barrier but all in all highly recommend.

A large variety of toys for children, DVD's, furniture, used and new electronic items, clothing for men and women, offering free bread for those in need. A ministry outreach.
