Hounds Town Sanford

We love hounds town.our dog loves the daycare the people we feel like you treat our own dog like he was your own and it makes us feel so good.we love being part of the hound town family I would recommend them to anyone.i am very picky with our senior dog and where he stays and since he has started daycare in hounds town it has been such an amazing wonderful experience.

Can't say enough how much we love HT! Our dog gets excited even hearing us mention "daycare". They also do fun pictures every holiday and even offer monthly deals

Aimee has been going to Hounds Town Sanford for some time now and I am never disappointed with her stay. She loves it there and I know they treat her well. She’s always happy to go and happy when she gets back. It’s so great to have peace of mind when leaving her. Thank you to the entire staff!

Do NOT let them trim your dogs nails if the dog doesn’t like getting them trimmed. After explaining to the manager only to cut her nails if she let them, they told me it took 3 techs at once to try, which they shouldn’t have done then, and that they got one dew claw. From that remark I thought that meant they successfully cut it, but NO the WHOLE dew claw was removed. I had to find out when I got home after she was in pain and saw the blood. After a month it was not growing/healing as I thought it should, so I took her to the vet which was $159. After multiple calls to try to get compensated from Hounds Town the owner decided they felt comfortable with paying $75 because of the time in between it happened and me taking her to the vet, which should not matter, because of their negligence I wouldn’t have needed to go to the vet. If I had gone immediately the amount of $ spent would have been the same. I tried to save me time and them money to see if it would heal and grow on its own. I asked if I could get the rest compensated with a credit since the boarding itself went okay as far as I know but they said no. They would rather lose a future customer and possibly more from the way they handled the situation. My dog has had to wear a cone for a month and a half, apply ointment 3 times a day, and medication for 3 weeks so far. This has been the most stressful situation I have had to deal with in regards to my dog.
Update: they paid me $150 after leaving this review.

Axyl has been going to Houndstown Sanford since they opened. He loves playing with his friends and of course LOVES the staff. I love that the staff always knows his name. He feels very secure and loved whether he is there for daycare or boarding. He always has the HOUNDSTOWN HANGOVER after he comes home! This is the BEST daycare/boarding facility that is in our area!

I was worried about how I would find my pup after 10 days of boarding. But as soon as she came out I was at ease. She looked and smelled great and she was so happy. I noticed a bit of swelling from one of her paws but after 10 days of playing whose paw wouldn't be? ! The staff is always nice and friendly. Love this place

Hamilton loves to go to Hounds Town to see all his friends. Always exhausted when he gets home.

I love taking my pet to Hounds Town. Lina had another great time today.

She went to bed early tonight which is good. We both had a a busy day.

My dog loves going to Hounds Town for either day care or a sleepover. He comes home happy and I know he has been well cared for.

Great staff. My Skye was scared coming into a full room of dogs so the handlers slowly re: introduced her to her friends and the transition was perfect. They have sound training skills. Impressed.

The staff is Absolutely Amazing! My pup gets So excited just turning the corner when he knows where he's going! They greet him with so much love and excitement that sometimes I get misty watching his happiness. I know my Java is in excellent hands when I leave! 100/10 would recommend

I am not happy with the service, the dog only had one incident, that it is active and only because a caregiver was alone. She did not like that the animal had a lot of energy. She expelled him from Sanford Day Care. I did not like the bad service.

Hounds Town took care of my dog for 18 days. I loved being able to see pictures of him every day and see how much fun he was having.
We used to board my dog in a different place, but Hounds Town has better prices, and we decided to try them out. We are happy with their service and will continue using them.

Always a pleasure and nothing but confidence when dropping Ginger off for her “spa day”. Hounds Town does a great job and is highly recommended!

Hounds Town was great for my dog. He was there for boarding for 10 days and he had no issues. The staff was super friendly when I went in to get information about their services, and when he did his day of complimentary day care. I would follow along on the photo updates when he was boarding. He always looked happy and healthy in all the images. He will be coming back for daycare in the future.

At other boarding facilities, our doggies were very anxious, scratching at the walls all day, etc. Since Hounds Town has the doggies out all day (with like tempered and like size dogs), they absolutely loved it. Every day a ton of pictures were posted to their Facebook group page to give all owners peace of mind, you could see how relaxed and silly all the dogs were. Also, the rooms they have the dogs in are a great size and our 2 labs could stay together (to sleep and eat in the room). This is definitely our new place to put our doggies!

I love Hounds Town! They are all very kind. The dogs actually get to be out of a kennel and play all day. Some other places only let them out for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon at most. I will only use hounds town!
