House of High Fidelity reviews
8I went in and spent some time in the back and picked out three records. While paying one of the associates behind the counter unprompted thought it was appropriate to share his homophobic world view. Had I not been completely mortified and wanted to get out there I would have asked for them to cancel the sale. Will not be back.
Witnessed an associate making inappropriate conversation regarding LGBTQ to a customer who was gay. It was obvious it was being done to make the customer feel uncomfortable. Highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Will be sure to spread the word. Won’t be back.
The repair to my Marantz 2325 was completed with in the time frame they quoted and the unit again looks operates like it did when I purchased it new in 1974! I am Very happy with the outcome.
Absolutely horrible experience. Very rude and unfriendly. I was verbally attacked and treated very badly. Those people have zero sense of customer service. They failed at every level and most importantly they failed as decent human beings. Do yourself a favor and take your money somewhere else. Avoid like a plague.
Terrible experience. Despite repeated calls and them saying they would get back each time they never did. Suggest if you want something done or purchase you go elsewhere which I did and the other store was very happy to take my order for a new amplifier and turntable.
This is the finest high five stereo repair shop in Southwest Florida. I have been going to this business since they were on 5th avenue South back in the 70s. It's still owned by the same family and they are all knowledgeable and very kind and cordial. I would recommend the house of high Fidelity to anyone who needs work done on their vintage stereo equipment TVs or any other electronics for that matter. Great selection of vintage vinyl also!
I am so pleased with the work that the house of High Fidelity did on my AKAI reel the reel tape deck. It really works well and sounds great.
They did take a long time to get it done (2 months which they told me up front) and it was not cheap.
But it was totally worth it.
