Numerous attempts to have someone contact me about outboard repair. No reply at all, even if they are busy they could at least reach out and explain a time frame.

This is the second time I have used George and HouseCall. All I can say is I am REALLY glad I found them. They check all the boxes on what I want in a company. They will get all my future boat work.

Can’t say enough good things about George and the level of service. He traveled to my high and dry and performed an annual service on an ‘01 optimax engine. He knocked out the service as promised and had to fixed a mistake from the last mechanic I hired. Additionally during this service he noticed that the engine was barely attached to the mount as the nuts had completely rusted off. He FaceTime called and showed me the issue. He then coordinated with the marina and picked up the boat on his trailer and did the repair out at his shop. Week later I have a boat back and it’s running as good as it has ever run. George does great work and more importantly is a high integrity guy. Anyone can service a newer engine. George obviously has the skill set to deal with the abnormal. He will be the only shop that services my engines going forward. Can’t recommend him enough.

I think George might be a decent mechanic but when he told me that my engine would blow up if he ran it at full throttle for 15 minutes like I asked so that he would see the problem, I realized I couldn’t continue to let him work on it. I paid him almost $600.00 yet another mechanic had to fix it. Be advised.
