Awful. Not helpful. I called to get information and some young kid answered the phone and it was like pulling teeth to get any information at all aside from “we only deal with our properties and there’s a wait list”. Every question I asked was met with “I don’t understand”. Why? Because you have immature inexperienced kids working the phone who have zero communication and people skills. Could not get any information directly from the staff.

I moved to Poinciana a couple years ago and I love it. Everyone in the KWHA is really nice. The maintenance department is exceptional. Anytime I have a problem they fix it promptly.

The entire agency is a disgrace. They’re taking on more properties when they can’t handle OR refuse to acknowledge the deplorable conditions of these properties. Same doors since the 1940’s, mail slots, gaps wasting energy and welcoming bugs in the units, rats, they slap a coat of paint over ROTTING wood, windows sealed shut, mold growing in units staff from top to bottom ARE completely unprofessional, rude, will NOT provide PUBLIC information. Whoever said they live porter place 20 years and has no issues, must be unconscious or blind

Come to find out that couples are given priority over single applicants. This came from the admin. Ms. Aubrey. Now I'm really terrified posting this because it will affect any application I have for housing or help. I will not be able to apply for housing anywhere in key West again.applications pending I'm sure will be buried. It's not okay. I will not be silenced out of fear of becoming homeless.

You maintenance guys are terrific. Had my thermostat replaced in a jiffy. Wish I had had some cash on hand for a fat tip!

I've called on multiple occasions and automated service picks up it gives you three options one to dial somebody's directory number extension 2 for an extension directory and zero for an operator you cannot press 0 for an operator it says not valid key number two same message not a valid key and when you try to type in any random number to get somebody you can't get an extension you can never reach anybody for help

I an have lived in K. W. H. A.at Porter Place for nearly 20 years now and have never had a Problem with them calling me back so I don't know why the reviews on here about them are so Negative. Plus, The Maintenance workers are the best in Key West. In the rear event that I need them to fix something in my apartment they come fix it immediately. In fact I just called Maintenance this morning at 10: 24 am and the Maintenance guys came and fixed my problem by 11: 15 am. They are All very Professional and polite. I think they all deserve a raise.

I don't know what you guy talking about Because every time i call or send Email they respond to me, Now remember this people just are worker there Do not expect for them to make miracle on your application every body has to go to a long waiting list, This is a Federal program and they no have any reason to denying you the opportunity to recipe the equal right to live there, If they inform you the you qualify you has to waiting like every body out.

I have been calling since 3 days and all they say is call emergency and then we call emergency and they say call maintenance and it keeps going around especially when it’s my ac that is not working I have 3 kids and I have a 3 year old and I call them and say can you help with the ac they say I Can’t
the maintenance is not here and that is not my problem
