Howard Johnson by Wyndham Tropical Palms Kissimmee

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, the front desk was more than polite and helpful. There is a nice fish pond outside. Stay was cozy. Would recommend.

First of all I want to start off by saying I am not sure how this hotel doesn’t have 5 stars to begin with. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and I love how the hotel is kind of tucked away from everything else. Besides the fabulousness of the hotel, I mainly came to review the staff, specifically Gary. I showed up late at night and was having multiple issues (on my end!), Gary was insanely patient, helpful, and understanding. I will gladly go as far to say he has given me the best customer service I’ve ever received. I studied hospitality and hotel management for year and have a degree with American hotel and lodging.so when I say this I mean it: to the manager or boss, please take care of Gary, he is absolutely an asset to your business. Hotel talk aside, he is one of the kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I hope our paths cross again one day! If you’re looking to stay in the Orlando/Kissimmee area, choose this hotel. You will not be disappointed!

Someone tried to steal my car in front of the cameras in front of the entrance of the Hotel and the room at 12: 30 in the afternoon, when asking if we could verify the cameras they refused to let me see them and that the entrance cameras are 2 They saw the color of the car that parked next to mine, they see when they break the locks but they don't see the license plate (but they never let me see to verify with the police).
*The noise of music at night is too loud. They do not provide a safe place.
*For less money you can get a more peaceful and safe place to allow yourself peace when enjoying your vacations.
*Note: Never ask if they can provide anything to help me with the damages, but you pay a FEE and the security is included.

It was clean and one person at the desk was decent, claimed I had a dog when a dog was never in the hotel, never came to give me towels or toleit paper. I would recommend staying somewhere else.

This place is a real shocker! I expected a dated old location with all the typical problems you find at every other 30.00 plus a night place. I was wrong. They are under some renevations but we were welcomed by a nice clean room. They have a mixture of new and dated decor. I all works together for a nice eclectic "Mad Men" feel. Why we did have some issues (typical of a hotel) the staff went above and beyond to fix the problems and accommodate us. We will be staying here Everytime we visit. They are set off from the main road which is nice to not have to live in the constant traffic noise. Close to everything. It's a gem.

Stoppee by to visit familynin towm soni didn't stay there. The staff was helpful to me. The room seemed nice.

Was ok got there and the police were arresting several people right in front of my room. Rooms were clean but were in need of a major makeover. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good.

Check in was late and the staff working was rude. The rooms are decent, but c po uld definitely be updated. The shower towels are very small. The staff working at night though was very friendly and helpful. The pool is centrally located and very nice. They provided a free shuttle to the themeparks, but hassle you with timeshares after saying no several times.

It has a pool it's clean the room set up is really comfortable but there is no bar or anything else to do there but they do have computers you can access in the lobby

The hotel is a little hard to see from the road but it's hard to argue with the price. Fairly inexpensive and not too far from any of the parks or shopping. Room was clean and stocked and service was good for the minimal dealing we had with them. It's not a 5 star resort but if you plan on spending your days in the parks and just spending the night it does the job.

I only wanted a night's sleep so I got a back room. It was a clean room, quiet and the price was very reasonable for Kissimmee, Fl. The place was busy and the walls are kind of thin, but I had a very pleasant stay. I will return.

Unfriendly staff. Outdated and not very clean rooms. There are more than 10 hotels around the area at the same price. Go somewhere else.

Clean room, friendly staff, inexpensive, quite. Not much more you could ask for. Plus close to Medieval Times.

Fairly nice hotel for the price. Had trouble with a outlet in our room and there was some rust in the shower but over all it was clean and we had a nice experience despite some noisy neighbors.

I have stayed at this property a few times. It is one of the best hotels in its price range in Kissimmee. Soft bed, hot shower, quiet location. Only thing I miss is a continental breakfast.

Bang for the buck it's not that bad. Can tell they have been doing recent renovations to make people stay more comfortable.

Horrible staff disgusting rooms dirty sketchy people and location the grounds were disgusting dirty bathtub hair in the sink roaches broken joining room door

$20 to park my car. I understand that since they're on almost 25 square feet at beach. This shouldn't be for overnight guests. The beach is so small you couldn't fit 20 people out there comfortably. The hotel is clean and well-kept. I love their sheets and always manage to get an excellent night sleep.

The baddest experience in hotels, no Matter the old is, but the stinky, ugly, bad cleaned, etc etc etc. Never book a Howard Johnson hotel in the world. I got my money refunded immediately an change to holiday express.

If you value life DO NOT GO HERE. This hotel does not deserve 1 star. Literally the worst hotel I ever set foot in. I didn't even bother to stay a full thirty minutes. I reserved a non smoking room but found a lighter under the bed, with ashes in a drawer of the night stand. It looked as though the cable box was stollen. In another drawer I found a condom wrapper and two used razors. The list goes on and on.
