My aunt was transferred to this facility from Seven Rivers Hospital, she had an infection that had vengeance for no return. This staff helped us tremendously especially with our grieving process as a family, I mean they offered amazing care and talked to us like we were human beings… Out of the full staff Pam Joslin stood out to our family with her amazing management skills and how helpful she was. My aunt was mostly unconscious but they always made sure she was most comfortable and changed her dressings more than needed! They would create a calm atmosphere and just talk to us. When it was finally time for my aunt to move to her next journey, they helped so much with our next steps. As our family was in such distraught, these wonderful people helped us in so many ways that I don’t think you can get at any other facility. All I can say on behalf my family is thank you HPH staff, and especially a big thank you to Pam, who helped us through and through! You guys truly helped my family see the light in this situation. Again big thanks.

Everyone was amazing! From caring for my mom and making sure the family was ok and informed. My mom passed with dignity and peacefully. I’m glad she was there.

My grandmother was transferred to this facility from a rehab after her rapid decline. From the moment she arrived, her care and comfort was priority for all those caring for her. After months of pain and suffering that was brought on from stage 4 lung cancer a broken shoulder and bed soars; the priority was comfort. While that meant we did not get another chance to speak with her over the next 2 days, she was pain free; she finally could rest reacefully. Every person we dealt with during her time there was comforting, empathetic and caring. It was a very stark contrast from the dealings I had with others at the rehab facility. We were able to be with her at all times and when she passed, she was surrounded by those that love her. I am so grateful for every individual and interaction that I had while dealing with the saddest time in my life. Thank you all. * (Written and beautifully said by my sister) but truly thankful for everyone there*

I couldn't ask for a more caring, compassionate group of people that helped us during my husband's passing. From making sure we were taking care of ourselves to helping our grandchildren understand what was going on and just being a shoulder to lean on, these angels were there for our every need. I am honored that my husband was cared for by a staff that was truly concerned with his comfort during this emotional and sad time.

This is the most amazing place for your love one. Everyone is very so helpful. I left my baby of 51years to them for a respite break and was very pleased when I picked her up. Called every night to check on her and the nurses were great.
