“SOMETIMES THINGS THAT GLITTER ARE GOLD” Let’s begin with the studio, absolutely beautiful, State of the art, the newest and most up to date equipment available. Moving on to Dr. Quintero, a very special gentleman, super professional, incredibly kind and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy your needs. Then there’s the team, all very professional as well but a special shout out to Michele who’s in charge of Clinical Operations and a very special shout out to Gretel, Dr. Quintero’s assistant, one of those people who are sincerely nice and very easy to look at. If I was fifty years younger I probably could fall in love. Lastly there’s Dusty, Dr. Quintero’s best friend. Dusty takes the Doctor to work every morning and patiently waits in the office to take him home in the evening. Dusty is a Border Collie. If all of the above wasn’t enough the studio offers free valet parking in a neighborhood where it’s impossible to find a parking spot.

Excellent customer service from the moment you request the appointment. The staff, dental hygienist and doctor are very professional and dedicated, all committed to helping you.

Outstanding experience at HQ Dontics. Scheduling was easy, parking with validation in the same building was convenient, and appt was on time. Jennifer the hygienist was outstanding - thorough, gentle, and very knowledgeable. Dr. Quintero also took the time to review my X-rays from two other offices in addition to performing a complete exam and answering all of my questions. They did not try to upsell at all unlike some other dentists I’ve been at. Highly recommended and will definitely be coming back!

Disappointed. Went for a cleaning and made it abundantly clear I didn’t want anything extra that insurance didn’t cover. Well, I was there for 90 minutes, and had all kinds of imaging and random things done. I kept reiterating if insurance doesn’t cover it I don’t need it (I just went to my long time dentist before moving to Miami). Fast forward to the next month my friend told me to check my bill, they overcharged him. I check, and I was overcharged $10 for a second service I got. I call to get my money back, and they finally respond saying I owe $78 for periphery imaging, the same thing I said I didn’t want during my initial cleaning. Felt like I got taken for a ride. Still waiting for the owner / head dentist to call me. Strongly recommend checking the billing and standing firm on services you want or don’t want, especially since I wasn’t the only one who had an issue. It’s funny as soon as I ask for the money I over paid I suddenly owe for some imaging done during my cleaning. Not to mention I just got a clean bill of health from my dentist of 10 years, as soon as I go here I get a laundry list of dental work they want me to do.

Do not go here if you value your time. They gave me a 3 hour window the day before my apartment to confirm my appointment and when I didn’t respond immediately they cancelled my appointment. My appointment was at 9 am the next day and they cancelled my appointment the day before right when they closed. I was at work in meetings and could not check my phone for 3 hours. When I tried texting back, they were already closed for the day. I texted them asking to please keep my scheduled appointment time and they were not able to do so. They called me twice during this 3 hour window as well, but again I did not have my phone. The number was also an unknown number and they didn’t leave my any voicemail. Why wouldn’t you leave a voicemail saying that you are the dentist and you need to confirm the appointment or that you will cancel? I told them that you should give patients more than 3 hours to confirm an appointment and it should be more than 24 hours in advance and they just stated to me that it’s their policy. They didn’t acknowledge that not leaving a voicemail and giving patients only a small window to respond was unacceptable. A policy of a 3 hour window, less than 24 hours before an appointment is absurd to me and I’ve never heard of such a thing. People have busy lives and they can’t be on their phone’s 24/7 waiting for their dentist to text and confirm the appointment they made.
