Humane Society of Pinellas reviews
21The people seem very friendly but some did not seem very knowledgeable and the place is a war zone because they are doing construction I believe they're building a brand new facility so it's uneven concrete very hard to move around with a walker did not have very many dogs I do believe once they're done with the construction of the new facility they'll be a lot better
You can visit this place once a month for dog and cat food. You must be on some type of assistance. Social Security or food stamps. They do accept donations, and there is an adoption facility!
Clean as it can be. Everyone is nice. Dogs look in good condition. They have a food pantry for people who need pet food. That's awesome
This is an amazing place to adopt an animal the animals are well taken care of and all of the staff was very attentive and sweet! I live in Tampa and I’m happy I made the commute out here!
Went to humane society and they a pup about 4 yrs old poor baby had surgery and wasn't to responive so will go next week to see if he is still there, they also have pretty kitten's there, they want of theses animals out because of the construction which will stress them out so please go and get them out, even foster them.
Even though they are in the middle of a renovation the staff was very attentive to our needs and questions towards trying to find my kids a new kitty. We ended up taking our beautiful kitty Cali home!
When we visited a week ago the shelter was redoing their sidewalk so we couldn't see the kitties. That's the only reason for the 3 star review. I will update once construction is more complete and we experience more. The website does clearly state they are under construction.
Helped me find my perfect little fur baby quickly and helped answer every question. My last shelter I went to was not as nice. I did have to wait outside while others looked at animals but the older lady outside was wonderful to talk to.
The staff was very helpful in picking out my new companion. I even got a free pizza for adopting. Welcome to the family Elsa!
Great place for adoption. Clean, friendly staff. Would love to take in more kittens, I have 2 now, adorable, playful, so amusing to watch them play together. Glad they get along and happy kittens with different characters
They were soooo unfriendly, wouldn't take anyone out of their cages. Don't care how much money they put into the place, unless you change your staff it will still be a 1.
We adopted Tessa a Sheppard/Lab mix about 5 weeks ago and she is an amazing dog. Jody in admissions was so helpful in making sure we found the right fit. I have adopt multiple dog from here and never had a bad experience.
Did humane society is an animal lover's Paradise where you can rescue an animal of pretty much almost every age from dogs and cats and with a great price for the adoption fees
Without a doubt the most organized and caring. Wonderful volunteers we tell everyone how happy they made our family. Little Cherry became Jetsy Elsa and is the sweetest ever.
This place is really good, animals well taken care if, clean, professional staff members
She is such a beautiful kitten
Thank you
Yes it's changed in building a new facility. But Very Rude women at the charity booth. As I was giving them a donation and they were very rude.so I ended up giving my donation to the Hospice site as it was crates for pups. So I won't be back there again, what a same!
We have adopted several fur babies over the course of several years from here. The staff are amazing and so is the clinic.
Support your local non kill shelters and have your heart rescued.
I loved the shelter they have helped when I had my daughter's senior doggy they helped me with food and flea meds and then they paid the first of putting her down when I couldn't afford it.
Good bless them
Wonderful people who work there. They truly care about their animals. Thank you for everything you do. I adopted Koko and love this sweet dog so much Thanks so very much.
Our neighbor passed away suddenly in April and while she was in hospice my wife and I took care of her seven cats. When she died we were tasked with finding them homes. Hannah was especially helpful in assisting us with this emotionally draining task. We are so very grateful these sweet cats were adopted and found homes. Thanks Hannah!
