Hurricane Dockside Grill, Tavares FL

Love sitting on the patio and watching the boats on the river on a nice day. They have beautiful roof over the patio with TV around the bar.

A little bit on the expensive side but the setting and everything is worth it. Not many other places that you can eat a Mahi sandwich outside beside the river. The food was good and service was great.

I miss their garlic parmesan fries as an appetizer. They are now available as an upgrade with a meal. Service last visit was slow.

What a wonderful place! We grabbed a boat from freedom boat club and went here at the recommendation of the dock staff Cody! What a great place! Food is absolutely delicious and service is top notch! Thank you so much for making our family thanksgiving vacation prefect!

Sit by the lazy river or inside seating are both offered at this restaurant. While there is always something going on here, there is always room for more. Bring the family, bring your friends and come Hungry

Good food if you eat in. Not so much on take out. Definitely don't by soft drinks to go either unless you like it in a coffee cup with ice to the top and a sip of drink.

The staff did an excellent job serving our very large group. The meal was delicious and hot which was amazing with so many people to serve at once. The waitresses were exceptional! Many thanks for a great afternoon!

Have always loved going here. Shrimp basket is usually wonderful. Took friends there and shrimp baskets came with only shrimp! When addressed waitress ordered French fries for two baskets and rice for third. Came when shrimp finished so took it to go. Never did receive coleslaw for two of them! Not sure what the problem was! Our new world maybe?

I overly love the atmosphere and our waiter was so nice and friendly! When I order wings it’s a must to have the sauce wet and the waiter made sure of that the wings and coconut shrimp were very delicious

Appetizers and cold beer in the best seat on the house. Nothing to complain about. Hot teriyaki wings were true to their name.

Food was good! Our server Teresa was great! Our complaint is that for football Sunday, they had all the other games on the main TV's and had the local (Tampa Bucs) on 2 small TV's. They would not change the channel despite the fact that nobody was watching the other game. Oh, they also had live music.
The live music wouldn't bother me but they are advertising the NFL package and football.

I'm certain of the Dockside Grills in the region Hurricane is the most popular- They are actually Dockside! Unlike some of the other "Dockside Grills".
The food is amazing, (think I had shrimp tacos on my last visit) the Wings and sauces are the best in the area, and a very good beer selection at the bar

I went on a private pontoon tour with captain Tom, 14 feet wide and 42 feet long, very comfortable, Sue the chef made food

First time but definitely not the last. Loved the place! Service attentive. Food primarily pub type but delicious. All served under the roof of an open air, water front Tiki bar.

Food and drinks were good. Inside dining was extremely warm tonight. It's one of our usual go-to places so we'll always come back lol

Great food great service l believe everyone should go there and experience the fun and fantastic time we had. Definitely going back.

We had the steak taco and it was the best meal yet out of all the places I have been in the area.
Can't wait to go back.

Really good food, but we waited 20 minutes for a table when the place wasn't crowded at all. The hostess told us when we walked in there would not be a wait time for a table, so I'm not sure why it took so long.

We ordered the nachos & wings with a hot garlic. Both were good, but nothing exceptional. Our bill was $42 which included our sodas. Service was average. They do have a nice outside dining area, which sits on the lake.
