We just went to get a part for my boyfriends 11 year old. Their inventory is awesome. They immediately had the part we needed. The staff went the extra mile to help install it and get the axial honcho xcx-10 running. Awesome place and amazing staff!

I came in looking for a smaller rc car. New to the hobby and not wanting it for traditional purposes, I had questions. I wasn't met with hello like multiple people were when they walked in after me. Several people looked at me but said nothing. I looked around for a few but ultimately left because I just didn't feel comfortable. Could have been in my head, but I'm going to continue my search elsewhere.

Great location and great staff! A lot of merchandise to choose from. You won’t be be disappointed checking this place out.

Great local hobby shop! They have a good selection and seem to have new cool stuff every time I go in there.

The owner and the staff are extremely helpful. The owner, Ian, spent a lot of time explaining different motors to us. Nice selection as well.

We were greeted at the door by wolf behind the counter. He took the walk to us to see why we had brought in our RC car. He then took our son to the counter to talk about the upgrades he would like have. Wolf spent quality time asking questions, looking online and even gave our son a deal on a parts car. Overall the shop was clean and well put to together. Ian the store owner spent time talk to my partner when she asked about the flight stimulator. If you need anything rc or hobby related go see Ian and wolf at the store!

The owner Ian and his nephew Mason are incredible.
They are honest and reliable people.
They don’t just run a business but they care about people. They go above and beyond. They went out of their way to help me with my car issues last night. Literally a Godsend. I Appreciate all you did for me. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. If I could I would give more than 5 stars because you are great hardworking people and a business worth investing into!

Great location staff was very knowledgeable. Would've given a better rating bur they don't sale Traxxas which is 80% of my collection.

While visiting Jacksonville I found this place through a Google search. I've been wanting to get into RC hobby but have yet to buy anything. All the guys here were super friendly and helpful! I started playing with their RealFlight simulator demo and quickly someone was over to show me how it worked and explained all the features. I had a blast flying and crashing all the different RC planes in it! I didn't have the money to purchase the system but they definitely sold me on the product in the future. If I lived here I would be in the shop all the time! Cool shop and prices are the same as anywhere online!

This is my son's FAVORITE store. They are friendly and helpful and they have the coolest stuff.

I decided to do model cars and r c cars again. Went into the store and it was great. Pretty huge RC selection to choose from. And all my questions were answered without the gentleman trying to upsale me on everything. I would definitely be going back.

Came in with my son and purchased a hobby electronics set for him and an RC boat for me. I had an issue with the boat and Ian went out of his way to help me diagnose the issue and ultimately ended up exchanging it. The place has a small mom/pop feel to it with knowledgeable employees who are passionate about the customer experience. Truly a Jacksonville gem.

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Took the time to show and explain in detail on how to solder. I’ve been into R/C cars since 1985 and this is the biggest and most stocked walk-in hobby shop I’ve ever seen!

What a great experience I had in this shop. The two fellas working behind the counter were really helpful. I went in to the shop to buy my wife’s boyfriend a new RC airplane and didn’t really know what to look for. The tall fella with the golden hair and dimples helped me pick out a nice plane. It wasn’t the most expensive but he said it would be the funnest to fly.
I have to say he was right! My wife’s boyfriend has been going out to the park every nice weather day to fly the plane giving me some quality time to rub my wife’s feet and cook them dinner.
You may have just saved my marriage!

I’ll be back for his birthday to get the RC car that goes 200mph! I forgot the same of it but it looks awesome!

Every time I go to the store I get the same top notch customer service. I love the selection and Ian is always fun to talk to. It’s well worth the 40 minute drive. The review says 5 stars but just know that it’s inaccurate I’m giving it a 10 out of 5.

Let me just say Hurricane Hobbies goes way beyond great service and I wish I could give them 6 stars.

I was running late from a work meeting, had planned to pick up an rc car for my sons birthday but wasn't going to get there before they closed. I called the shop and the owner (Ian) volunteered to keep the shop open so I could pick up a car. I couldn't believe how nice and generous he was with his time. He didn't even rush me out, but rather talked to me about all the features and considerations for which car to get and it totally made my sons birthday!

Since then I've gone back several times and he and the team have always been friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable.

A few weeks ago my engine in my car wouldn't start after visiting the hobby shop and Ian came out to help and gave me a jump. Since then he has cleaned out the leaves from my moms gutters, removed a raccoon trapped in my neighbors attic, helped my brother-in-law get his GED, and fixed my golf swing. To top it off last week my wife went into labor in his shop and he delivered our third child. I just can't say enough.
Hurricane Hobbies is the best!
