Hutchinson Island - Ocean Village, Fort Pierce FL

Would have been nice if they told everyone that the main pool was closed!
I was going to stay there until we found out the pool and the pickleball courts were closed thank you

Great resort to enjoy a nice holiday to relax or have fun, with a lot of activities to do.

The place is quite nice. Has pretty much everything you would need. The only negative I have found, is the mattress on the bed. It is rather broken down, & tends to roll you toward the middle. Also, it is too soft, in my opinion - but that is truly a matter of personal preference. Everything else was lovely. We enjoyed the pool, & hot tub, but didn't realize the tiki bar closed when it did. (Our own fault, on that.) We really enjoyed watching the birds, & lizards, as well.

Definitely not kid friendly, there's an older woman "security" guard by the name of Ursula that will make your entire stay a living hell. She spends the entire day correcting people on what they are not permitted to do. I will definitely not be coming here again.

I loved it here. Our unit was so cute, and I found a lot of teeny tiny clam shells on the beach?
Great location, Hutchinson Island, because right over the bridge is the downtown Ft Pierce area which includes many fun hotspots like the Marina where you can buy fish food & feed the fish in Indian River, the Smithsonian Marine Station, Manatee Observation Center, as well as downtown boutique shops.
If you're thinking about staying at Ocean Village, let this be your YES sign. ️

Do not rent OV617! I stayed there for a week without a refrigerator. Called multiple times to have it fixed. Was finally fixed on our last day of vacation.

Owners would only compensate for the groceries that I had purchased. Took 23 days to even get an answer.

For $186 a day, owners should do better. Was so disappointed and will never be back!

This is a special community. There are so many owners here that have owned their condos for generations and some have been visiting their whole lives here, it's pretty neat and I think a sign of a special place. It is quite, but just enough to do to stay on site w/ a tiki bar, tennis, pickleball, beach, golf and more. Condos can be small and affordable or large oceanfront/luxurious, or single family homes so it has something for everyone.

Nobody at this resort has any authority or knows how to manage place. On the weekends you can’t even go to the main pool they have the music so loud. Definitely not a place to bring kids to the only concern is to drink & party at the pool on weekends
Complained to their association, as admin office not available on weekends, and told nothing they could do about the noise. Had to sit inside on a beautiful day as on our patio music was blaring so loud had to keep the doors closed. Oh get this, walked trashed to the dumpster & could hear the music as plain as day even in the parking lots by the condos! Wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free especially with children

Away from the rest of the world. Directly on an amazing private beach. Golf, restaurant, community pools, tennis etc.

Stayed here for an airbnb and let me tell you, this place is everything you need and more. I loved everything about the location, how safe i felt, and the fact that the beach was steps away just put the cherry on top:)

I give this low rating specifically because of one particular security guard who is consistently mean and rude. It's such a shame that the person who is greeting residents and visitors gives ocean village such a bad first impression.

Wow what a experence! Beautiul place Did not like the noseeum bugs. Got ate up. Many people at pool complained also. Spray! Security the best. Privacy the best.

Lovely apartments with a pool, and a hot tub. And let's not forget that aqua blue ocean just steps away.

Stopped for a drink and quick appetizers. We just wanted to check out this spot. Shrimp cervices and giant pretzels did the trick. Awesome service from Andrew! Loved the ocean views and the ability to eat inside or outside. We plan to go back for dinner and we already know what we will order!

Lifetime of memories made, everytime we visit! Great complex and very well maintained. Everything you need for a fun-filled vacation: Beach, Pool, Golf, Tiki Bar, Restaurant. Everyone from the guard station to restaurant staff is pleasant, helpful and willing to assist.
